Chapter Seventeen

Today was the day the Kages come together in Konohagakure to discuss their plans on the rouge crisis. It was also the day when Amaterasu was permitted to leave the hospital and to rest for awhile.

Amaterasu walked out the hospital dressed in a blue sleeveless chinese dress with black spandex shorts that reached to her knees, her hair was half up, half down with the ends curled, smokey eyeshadow and red lipstick and her heels that looked similar as Tsunade's.

'Did Ino really have to put make-up on me? I don't even wear any to begin with.' Amaterasu sighed walking through the village, she could feel the stares of the people on her as she walked by.

'Do they really have to stare? It's annoying.' She thought with a light blush on her cheeks. After awhile she got some dongos heading to the front gate when she felt Kohaku's and the other kids there.

'Wonder what's going on?'

Amaterasu ran sensing a handfull of approaching chakra, that were quickly coming towards the village gates. Once she got there she saw Kakashi and Itachi standing in front of the gates watching the seven kids run up trees marking the height they had reached before repeating it again. As she walked up to the two males she light up a cigeratte that she hand managed to keep away from Ino.

"What are you two doing?" She whispered standing in between Kakashi and Itachi.

"Why are you whispering?" Kakashi asked not bothering to look at the woman.

"Your kidding me? Those kids got ears like a dogs."

"Lady Ama is here!"

"See what I mean." She said with a sigh but smiled walking over to them. The men saw how they frowned seeing her smoking.

"Those are bad for you!"

"Yeah!"

"I'll be fine."

"Those can kill you!"

"I'll live." She chuckled as they complained but soon gave up trying to convince her to stop. Once done with her cigeratte she throw it away and stared talking with them. At the same time a groupful of people walked through the gates. Itachi's eyes widen slightly seeing people who he thought were still dead.

'I guess it didn't just effect the Hokages.' Kakashi thought.

"I see you're all alive." Itachi said with his stoic facade in place.

"Hey, long time no see, Itachi!" Kisame Hoshigaki gave his old teammate a toothy grin.

"Never thought I see you again, Uchiha, un." Deidara glared at the Raven haired man.

"Don't hurt yourself, brat." Sasori said looking around the village. Deidara glared at the redhead.

"Not this again." Zabuza Momochi groaned as Haku smiled.

"Hello again, Kakashi Hatake." Kakashi gave the boy an eye-closed smile lazily raising his hand in the air.

"Yo, it's good to see you again."

"Hey! Are you guys real ninjas?" They blinked looking down seeing a boy around the age of 10 looking up at them.

"We are." Haku softly said smiling at the boy.

"Cool!"

"Hey! Kota, what are doing? I told you not to talk to strangers." They looked seeing a woman walking to them.

"B-but lady Ama! They're real ninjas!"

"What am I? Chop liver? I'm a ninja as well, kid. Now go back to the academy. All of you." Amaterasu crossed her arms as the rest joined Kota as they talked to the Kages and their guards. Kohaku on the other hand was hiding behind Itachi's legs. Itachi picked the blond haired child in his arms only for her to hide her face against his neck.

"Do we have too?"

"If you want to be ninja, yes, you have too. Now go or no dango tonight." They pouted.

"That means you too, Kohaku." Amaterasu looked at her daughter who puffed out her cheeks wrapping her arms around Itachi.

"Don't give me that look. Go now and I'll stop smoking for the day."

"A week."

"Three days."

"Two weeks."

"I rather take the week."

"Deal."

"Now, get going."

"Okay mommy!" Itachi placed Kohaku on the ground. She hugged her mothers legs and Itachi before leaving.

"I swear, lady Tsunade is teaching her things she shouldn't have to a 6 year old." Amaterasu said placing her hands on her hips looking at her run off with Kota and the others.

"Are they all your kids?" Mei Terumi asked looking at Amaterasu who looked confused at first but shook her head waving her hands in front of her with a light blush.

"N-no, t-they aren't mine! Kohaku is my daughter but she's adopted. Kota and the others are from a village I use to live at."

"Nice one."

"Shut up, idiot." She elbowed Kakashi in the gut making Itachi sigh.

"Ama."

"Yes?"

"Go home and rest. You just got out the hospital."

"Eh? Did that damn Senju put you up to this?! I'll kick his ass again!"

"Ama."

"Don't "Ama" me, Itachi! I'll deal with that damn Senju, he won't know what hit him!"

"What were you saying, Uchiha?" Tobirama showed up standing behind the woman making her turn around glaring at him.

"Tobirama! You damn Senju! You weren't planning on telling me about the meeting were you?"

"And how did you get this information?"

"Sake. That's all you need to know." Amaterasu smirked when Tobirama got that annoyed look on his face.

"Go home, Uchiha."

"Tsk, idiot Senju."

"Amaterasu." Itachi watched as his cousin flinched hearing the demanding tone in his voice.

"Go home, now."

"Fine but you owe me ramen." She pocked Itachi's cheek who glared at her which she returned with a smile.

"And you, Senju. I'm not done with you, not by a long shot." She said before walking away from them.

"So, who's the woman, Itachi?" Kisame asked once she was out of hearing range.

"That was my little cousin. Amaterasu Uchiha."

Later that night

"Mommy, Itachi is home!" Kohaku ran into the kitchen only to laugh when said man picked her up in his arms.

"Hey, dinner is almost ready."

"I hope it's going to be enough."

"What do you mean?" She asked turning away from the stove looking at her cousin.

"Hey, something smells good!" Kisame said walking into the kitchen with a grin with the others behind him.

"Ah. You owe me Itachi." Said man sighed pocking Amaterasu on her forehead making her pout.

"I hope you boys are hungry, I made a lot."

"That's good to hear, yeah! I'm starving!"
