Chapter Thirty Eight

The Next Day

Amaterasu let out a sigh as she walked into the Hokages office to find Tsunade sleeping on her desk. Again. Amaterasu shook her head at the site of the village leader but couldn't blame her.

'Being Hokage must be taking it's toll on her already.'

"Lady Tsunade." No answer.

"Lady Tsunade. You need to finish the rest of paperwork before going to sleep." She got a grunt for a reply this time.

"Lady Tsunade there's no more sake in the village!" Tsunade quickly stood up quickly making her chair roll back hitting the window with a loud noise.

"Find some now! I need my sake! Now!" Amaterasu laughed holding onto her stomach. Tsunade blinked her eyes noticing Amaterasu was laughing on the floor. Tsunade closed her eyes as her eye started twitching in annoyance.

"Tha-that was hilarious! I-I'm dying!"

"Shut up will you!"

"O-oh, come on, lady Tsunade. You know you wanna laugh too." Amaterasu said looking at the woman who sat back down in her chair.

"I don't."

"Your old."

"What'd you call me!?"

"I called you old, granny! You need to go out and have some free time." Amaterasu said standing up with her arms crossed looking at the slug sannin.

"You're spending to much time with my uncle." Amaterasu looked confused but sighed knowing what she was talking about her arms being crossed.

"Whatever. You need to get out while I take care of this." She said looking at the four stacks of paperwork on the desk.

"No."

"No? And here I thought you would jump at the opportunity to have some of the new sake that arrived in the village the other day. Guess I'll just tell them to give it away." Black eyes starred into hazel eyes.

"Well, if you insist." Tsunade said walking out from around her desk heading to the door.

"Jiraiya is waiting for you at the end of the stairs, said he wanted to ask you something." Tsunade looked at the onyx eyed woman who shrugged as she started going through the stacks of paper.

Amaterasu let out a sigh as she sat down in the chair looking out at the village. She finished with the paperwork an hour ago and have been doing nothing but looking out the window the whole time.

"You seem to be enjoying yourself."
Amaterasu looked up seeing Tobirama looking down at her. She gave him a smile standing up, he sat down on the chair as Amaterasu sat on his lap placing a kiss on his cheek as Tobirama wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Where's Tsuna?"

"I made her leave the office for the day while I finish the paperwork. Her and Jiraiya are out somewhere in the village. Probably in one of the bars." She said laying her head on his shoulder, nuzzling her face against his neck.

"I'm coming over tonight."

"That's good to hear. Haku has been wanting to see you for awhile now. She has been training with Madara." She said looking at him to see him roll his eyes. She lightly slapped his chest making him grunt.

"He's a good sensei to her, idiot. Training her in everything including how to avoid the Sharingan. He's good with kids."

'In his own way...' She thought.

"Where is this conversation ending to Amaterasu?"

"He needs a woman. Girfriend or a wife."

"Stay out of it Ama."

"B-but-"

"No."

"That's not fair. I even found Itachi a good person to be with."

"Your friend from the dongo shop I suppose."

"Yes. Akimo-chan is perfect for him. Itachi won't ask her on date because he is constantly going on missions and Akimo-chan is a bit nervous to even ask Itachi."

"I'm telling you this now. Stay out of it."

"Fine." She sighed closing her eyes as she rested against his chest.

"You aren't going to listen, are you?"

"Maybe."

"Ama." He warned the woman that laid against him but she merely chuckling at his warning.

"I'll just talk to them, silly Senju." Tobirama sighed looking out the window. Amaterasu let out a sigh watching the clouds float in the sky.

"I need to ask something of you later tonight." Tobirama said looking at the raven haired woman as she looked at him.

"Can you ask me now?"

"No."

"Wha!? That's not fair Tobirama! Tell me!"

"No."

"Damn it! Tell me right now, idiot!"

"Alright." He sighed with a sigh but his lips twitched into a smirk.

"Really?" Amaterasu asked with a smile.

"No."

"Meany." She pouted crossing her arms looking away making her white haired shinobi chuckle. Amaterasu couldn't help but smile looking at Tobirama. She gently touched his cheek, leaning up she placed a kiss on his lips which he returned as his arms tighten around her waist. Amaterasu was the one to pull away from the kiss.

"I love you, Tobirama." She said with a loving smile.

"And I love you as well, Amaterasu."
