Sasori's POV

Who would've knew that the moon had such an iridescent glow? Faintly fading out from its yellowish white center. At the time we were both panting and giggling like two little schoolgirls, a sight that Deidara would never live to see.  She smiled at me. She smiled at me.  And I smiled back. What the heck Sasori? Get a grip. This is not the time to loose your bad boy persona. I glanced at her smiling face one last time and let my smirk fade softly away, resting my back against the cold marble surface. An awkward silence filled the gap between us as we realized that we didn't have many conversational topics.

As I was about to make a comment about Konan's seafood lasagna, Kagami suddenly piped, "Why can't bicycles stand on their own?" I quirked my eyebrow and stared quizzically at her, physics formulas concerning gravity flooded my mind to give her the most logical answer possible. Opening my mouth to answer her she suddenly interrupted "Because they're two tired" I stared at her for a second and suddenly, a familiar sound cracked through the wind. I was laughing? It started out in little bursts at first, but then like a firecracker exploded into a flame and before I knew it I was clutching my stomach in laughter, doubling over and gasping to catch my breath. Shit. Who knew, I Sasori Akasuna liked lame puns. Not before long, she also giggling uncontrollably. Her bare shoulder bumping against mine. Pale skin cool to the touch but yet burning with emotion.

"You should go to hell," I said between breaths.
"Why? Because I'm a sexy devil?" She cockily replied. And we started laughing again.

We sat in more comfortable silence for a while longer, until it was broken a second time- this time by the sound of foot steps pattering against the stone pavement behind them.

"Naruto! W-where are we going?" A timid voice stammered.
"It's a surprise, don't worry Hina!" A loud overbearing voice replied.

Two figures, male and female, with intertwined hands giggling and sprinting towards the middle of the field, fell down in peals of laughter. They rolled out a picnic blanket beneath them and curled up on top. Meanwhile, whilst the couple was enjoying their romantic escapade, my face morphed into a cringe of pure disgust. PDA was definitely not my thing. Yeah sure, stargazing in the middle of dewy grass can be infinitely romantic, but heh I'm just not that kind of guy. I tilted my head to the side to steal a glance at her, expecting the similar reaction. But to my astonishment her smile still remained on her face, if not even brighter. I hurriedly wiped the look of utter disgust off my face and said "Corny, huh?" "I think it's sweet. Young love and all." "God you're so cheesy." Letting a smirk glide on my face I turned to her and gazed into her onyx eyes.

Kagami's POV

Brown merged with onyx in a tangle and dance of color so vivid when he looked into my eyes. I bit the corner of my cheek and looked down at my lap where my hands laid folded neatly. In a sudden swoosh of movement, an arm was around me pulling me close. Sasori's toned and muscled arm pulled me close to his body. A sudden rush sped to my cheeks as I felt the side of my body pinned against his. In the cold night air, his chest was warm and homely. My eyes darted in every direction as he kept pulling me closer to him as if he'd done this a million times. God, stand the heck up Kagami, you got a hot guy in your palm already GO FOR IT! My inner voice taunted as I still failed to meet his steady gaze. His head tilted towards me and was impossibly close, warm breath against my face and the scent of his sandalwood aftershave floating around us. His mouth enveloped mine in one swift motion, soft and gentle like the wings of a butterfly but full of fire and warmth. My palm flat against his chest, I pulled on the soft fabric of his T-shirt and brought him closer, earring for a moment like that of in the alleyway. It was like a shot of tequila, cold but hot at the same time.
He suddenly jolted us apart when a shriek filled the air.
