Kagami's POV

Once I reached my room I immediately plopped onto my bed, with my remaining strength, threw my bag across the room. It landed with a thud right beside my desk. Akira entered the room right after and turned off the light and with another thud, sank into her bed and fell into a deep sleep.

-

I awoke to the sound of my phone ringing wildly into my ear, the sound of Shut Up And Dance by Walk The Moon shattering my eardrums. "Hello.." I answered groggily into the phone "WHERE ARE YOU?!" Hollered the person on the other line. "Wait who are you again?" "I'm Konan, its 8:30 and class is almost starting, so you and Akira better get your asses down to the cafeteria right now or you'll be left with some soggy buns for breakfast. Ciao." Beep.

My eyes flew open as I rushed to the bathroom, yanking Akira's foot and banging my toe my bedside table on the way. I brushed my teeth with lightning speed and splashed cold water on my face and brushed my teeth. Rushing back to my room I stripped off yesterday's clothes and settled on a white crop top and a pair of cutoff denim shorts. I pulled my hair into a pony tail and grabbed my backpack. Akira was only getting up as I was pulling on my shoes.

"HOLY SHIT" She exclaimed as she looked at the alarm clock that sat on her bedside table. "GAMI WHY DIDNT YOU WAKE ME UP?" She wailed as she flipped out of bed and dashed to the bathroom. "I YANKED YOUR FOOT!" I shouted but I doubt she heard

"Go ahead without me," she said as she stepped out of the bathroom and stumbled back into the room to change "This face doesn't come easy, honey." She smirked. I gave her a loving shake of the head and headed out the door. I made my way down the stairs as fast as I could with my ankle. Wow I really need to get that checked out. I made it to the infamous Akatsuki table in 15 minutes, wincing as I took my seat.

"Hey, you okay?" Konan asked me, genuine worry flashing in her eyes. "Oh god I forgot about your ankle yesterday, here, eat this while I check it." "Wha...?" I stared at her in amazement as she tossed me a fruit tart and pulled ointment and gauze out of her backpack. "Shes our medic." Pein said proudly as he looked at his partner. Konan shooed Zetsu and Tobi out of their seats to make room for my leg. After a bit of poking, prodding and pulling, my leg was all bandaged up and ready to go. Konan had sponsored me her pair of emergency sandals (just incase her heels were too uncomfortable she said) and dumped my converse in my backpack. While I was getting treated, I silently ate my tart and tried my best to ignore all the stares.

"Now be sure not to apply too much pressure on it." She said after she was done. "You're in the same class as bimbo and Barbie boy right?" She shot a glance in the pairs direction, "Help her to class and make sure she doesn't do anything stupid like last time okay?" Deidara gave her a mini salute and Sasori just rolled his eyes.

"C'mon little lady, un." Deidara chanted as he picked up my bag. "Don't go doing anything stupid now."

I stood myself up leaning against the cafeteria table, but loosing balance almost immediately- I stumbled backward. Only to be caught by a hand on my shoulder. "Stupid." Sasori said darkly and held his arm out. I stared at him confused. "Grab hold of it ding head, I'm not going to hold it forever." Avoiding eye contact, I grabbed his arm and we made our way to class. Considering how Sasori rushed and lectured us about how he hates to make people wait on the way to class- Which involved a lot of tugging and almost-tripping.We reached class in 15 minutes. Deidara cleared three places in the back for us. Setting my bag down on the innermost one, he held out a hand and helped me to my seat. I then let go of Sasori's arm and carefully maneuvered myself onto the plastic chair. I wrenched my backpack from the other seat and plopped it down onto my lap and pulled out my pencil case- which was dripping in keychains and a notebook. Sasori stared at my pencil case quizzically and Deidara proceeded to poke and examine my keychains. Kakashi entered the class a few moments later and the lesson continued as usual.
