Haruhi, Honey, and Mori started turning white and just stared at me. Kyoya obviously already knew that information by his amused smirk. I thought Tamaki was finally coming out of shock, and the twins were running around screaming, "Ah! There are two of them! There are two of them! What do we do?"
I sat down on one of the comfy red sofas and crossed my legs. "Not really. Our personalities are different," I assured them, gathering my long blond hair and moving it over my shoulder. Tamaki stood behind me and put a hand on my shoulder. I tensed slightly, but tried not to miss a beat. "We're definitely not doppelgängers."
They stopped running and glared at Tamaki, "Hey, what about all those times you called us shady twins? You have one, too!"
He defended, "We aren't shady, unlike you two. We're just fraternal twins."
Haruhi, starting to register things again, asked, "Tamaki, why didn't you ever tell us you have a sister? Wasn't that important?"
"Like he said before, he didn't think he'd see me again. I don't blame him," I shrugged. Lies kept flowing out of my mouth. I was furious that I hadn't been mentioned once to his friends while I had spoken about him on many occasions. What game was he playing at? Did he really just throw me to the side?
I dismissed the thought for the time being and smiled, "Well, I've stalled the opening of your club for long enough. I need to leave, anyway."
"Y-You can stay if you want," my brother offered.
I stood up and declined, "No, I still have to unpack my things. Maybe tomorrow." I was walking past Haruhi when I stopped. "Are girls allowed to wear the boys' uniform? I like it a lot more, but it seems a bit strange for such a prestigious school."
"N-No. Why would you ask me that?"
"No reason. It was only a question," I dismissed, narrowing my eyes slightly at his nervousness. There was no way he was a he. I was going to have to figure that out later. "I'll see you at the mansion, alright, Tamaki?" I began walking away and waved to them over my shoulder, "Au revoir!"
My smile dropped as I walked out the doors and pushed aside the massive crowd of girls crowding my exit. They gave me glares and curious looks for spending time with the Hosts before they had opened. They were just misunderstanding the situation, and I really didn't care much. They would probably ask about me and find out who I was, and then they'd love me because of Tamaki. I was already annoyed at the realization. That wasn't how I wanted to start things.
A host club.... No, it was a super rich playground for the ladies at the school. Though they were to be the ones entertained, I was sure the Hosts were getting just as much fun if not more out of watching them swoon. It was distasteful, and I couldn't believe Mr. Suoh had allowed it. Then again, he had done other questionable things....
I knew Tamaki was very charming, but I didn't think he'd go flaunting it in such a way. Tons of those girls were probably in love with him, and he didn't feel the same way. All those hearts would be broken. Was it really worth his amusement? Did he care that he was lying to all of them?
I sighed. It didn't matter, I guess. Grand-mère told me specifically to spend time with my brother. There was some motive behind her wanting us to bond, and I didn't know what it was. But there always was one, and I had no choice but to go along with it. Looking back, even if I had known, I would have had to go along with her charade. No one ever argued with her. It was an unspoken rule.
I looked over my shoulder at the large double doors leading to the music room. The flock of girls was already inside. I guessed that was why she had instructed me to go to his club. I was going to have to be part of it to fulfill her wishes.
