I could tell there was a change between the Host Club and me. Or really, with the twins. I hadn't quite expected any of them to care so much about me keeping Eric a secret. Sure, Tamaki had the right to be mad, but he understood why I hadn't told him earlier. Everyone else, though... I didn't get it. Why would they mind when they didn't know a lot of things about me?
The day after Eric's appearance was by far the worst between the twins and I. They never directly said they were angry, but it wasn't hard to figure. They were teasing me a lot more, and when they weren't, they ignored me. They never stayed too close to me, and there would be times I'd feel their eyes on me. As the days went by, this all became less and less often, but there had been a time that Hikaru blew up at me for almost no reason while I was entertaining my customers. If I hadn't known better, I would have called him jealous, but I knew he was the more upset of the two.
Still, nothing stopped the twins from pestering me about one specific thing. They kept asking me to play some game, but I told them no each time. I didn't even know what it was, but if they created it, I didn't trust it. I had no way of knowing if it was a prank to get back at me or not.
I was with a few of my customers when I saw them walking over to my table. I gave them a warning look, but all they did was smirk and walk behind me, wrapping their arms around my shoulders. Je vous avise de ne pas faire cela, I silently told them not to do whatever they were planning.
"So, Katashi," Kaoru started.
Hikaru asked, "Do you want to play a game with us?" Of course, I groaned. They had successfully cornered me into almost having to say yes in order to not look rude in front of my customers. They were too clever sometimes.
I declined, "Thank you, but I'm with my customers right now. I don't want to ignore them. I'm sure you can understand. You have your own customers to deal with. Perhaps another time?"
"What game?" one of the girls asked anyways.
"'The Which One is Hikaru Game!'" they announced. The girls gasped and giggled at this.
I turned to the twins and narrowed my eyes, "Are you kidding me?"
"Katashi, you have to play!"
"Yeah!"
"I don't even know what it is," I excused myself.
"It's easy! You just have to be able to tell us apart," Hikaru explained.
I frowned, "I already can do that."
Kaoru grinned, "Ah, but can you do it without hearing our voices or seeing our hair?"
"Oui."
"Then, why don't you prove it?" they challenged.
