Chapter 7

I was sitting in class taking notes when a woman came over the PA, "We will begin conducting physical examinations shortly. All students, please proceed to the clinic in your respective school building."

The teacher released us, and Tamaki immediately grabbed my arm. "Come on, Katashi! We have to hurry! We need to get into formation A!"

I stumbled behind him as he pulled me, "I don't have a part in this, and I barely know what formation A is! Ralentissez!" I tried to get him to slow down, but he wouldn't. I ended up tripping over my own feet.

Someone else caught me when I started to fall and pulled me to them. "Oh, m-merci!"

"Sorry, Katashi! Catch up with me later!" Tamaki called behind him. I glared at his retreating figure. He'd pay for that later.

"You know, if you weren't always in such a hurry, you wouldn't fall or run into people, Frenchie," Hikaru's voice rang out. I finally looked up at my savior. The boy with his arm wrapped around me was, in fact, Hikaru.

"Whoa, Katashi, are you alright?" Haruhi asked. I noticed she and Kaoru had been with him, walking to the physical exam room. When Hikaru began to smirk, I realized I hadn't moved away from the hugging position we were in.

I pulled away from him quickly and blushed a bit, "I'm fine, thank you. And is that what you think? I'm always in a hurry?"

Kaoru shrugged, "You looked like you were in a pretty big hurry when you bumped into us on your first day."

I pointed out, "You bumped into me."

Hikaru tilted my chin up to look him in the eyes and put his face close to mine. He had such an evil grin that it made me a bit nervous. "Either way, you owe me for saving you now."

I pushed him back lightly and frowned, "Devil."

He responded easily, "Frenchie."

I rolled my eyes, "Anyway, it was Tamaki's fault. He wanted to get there as soon as possible to get into formation A." I sighed and looked at the flow of students heading to the examination rooms. "I guess I better go on ahead. I'll see you guys later."

I ran the rest of the way to the examination rooms, but when I opened the doors, I was met with a long row of doctors and nurses in pink on either side. Some of them were already working with students, and others were waiting for their assigned patient to arrive. They were also all eerily happy, and it made me a little uncomfortable. I mumbled, looking around, "This is slightly fancier than what we had at my school."

"Well, Ouran is a bit more prestige than the school you went to," a voice said behind me. I turned around and saw it was Kyoya. I had lost him earlier with Tamaki dragging me.

I nodded, "Yeah, that's true. I guess it doesn't really matter much. My school had ours last week, so I got exempted."
