Zeron watched her as she took the hand of his best friend.
This can't be happening.
His jealousy is eating him and he is dying inside.
He hurt all over.
He needed to escape.
He was trapped in a situation where he could only choose between the devil and the deep blue sea.
He must choose the deep blue sea and just die!
Then she looked at him. Nagpaalam ito sa best friend niya bago siya nilapitan.
"Aren't go coming with us?" She asked, giving her the sweetest smile. Damn! If her smiles were liquid, he would surely save it in a bottle.
He swallowed hard. "You don't expect me to ruin your first date, do you?"
She looked away. "Why can't we be together?" Pain crossed her eyes.
"We're cousins, simple."
"Simple? Kaya ipinapasa mo ako ngayon sa best friend mo?" Puno ng hinanakit na tanong nito.
His eyes dilated. "Sam, ibinibigay lang kita sa lalaking para sa'yo. I cannot give you the life you deserve to have, I'm literally not the right man for you..."
"Did you realize that when you touch me? When you kiss me? What about what happened to us?"
Shit! Does she have to remind him about his foolishness? He felt like a bastard. So ashamed of that huge mistake. Something he's not proud of.
"Do you even love me kahit konti Ze?"
"No." His heart was screaming to say yes but he choose to deny it. Yes! He love her so much. At wala na marahil siyang ibang babaeng mamahalin kagaya ng pagmamahal niya dito.
Namuo ang luha nito sa mga mata sa naging sagot niya. He refused the urge to hug and comfort her.
"What happened between us was pure mistake" He added "You freely offered yourself to me, I'm just a man and I was drunk, ikaw ang nasa matinong pag-iisip."
