His fingers tapped the table impatiently. Counting one to ten. He stared at his wristwatch once again. Ten thirty o'clock. What was he doing here waiting for almost two freaking hours just for nothing! He should go now.
Gusto niyang matawa sa sarili. He actually believed that she would go out with him for dinner?
Shit! he gritted his teeth. His male ego was bruised so bad he couldn't take it. Who the hell did she think she was? What did she want from him, chaste her like stupid horn dog? She should be thankful that she got his attention now. Wasn't she the one dying to get him? She even betrayed her own sister just to have him? Even accused him of such a ridiculous allegation?Now, why is she doing this to him? Bitch!
He couldn't afford to call her and ask her whereabouts. It's to much for his wounded pride. He stood up brusquely and exited at the resto. He received a call from Ramsel.
"Brad where are you? Can you come over here at BGC? I'm going to you show something."
He just want to go home straight but when it comes to Ram he couldn't refuse.
"I'll be there."
HE is currently enjoying his meal at The Wholesome Table with Ramsel when a couple caught his attention. Ze and Celestine chose their table outside the resto where there are also reserved seats, what a coincedence! Ramsel is saying something to him about his business plans pero wala doon ang atensyon niya. He dropped the spoon and fork annoying on his plate. He didn't eat earlier at Shangri-la waiting for her pero narito lang pala ito at kasama ang kalaguyo.
"Pare, you're lost" Puna ni Ramsel. Sinundan nito ng tingin ang tinitingnan niya. They didn't notice them dahil inabutan na ang mga ito ng menu.
"Sorry pare, please go on..." He focused his attention to Ram this time. From now on, he's not gonna be affected by this woman.
Ram eyed him mischievously "Aren't you going to say hello to your wife?" Nakangising tanong nito.
"You were saying about the revised plan for this structure we're planning to build in the middle of this city..." Siya na ang nagbalik sa usapan, mas mabuting iwasan na lamang niya ang topic tungkol kay Celestine.
"Uh-huh you're listening..." He teased. Then his eyes turned to his latest laptop tablet model and showed the building plan. He scrolled the screen to show the plan. "This is made by Engr Teddy Valdez and Architect Shiela Aerolf. I find it so amazing pare, this is gonna be a very tall storey building and will the biggest project here in BGC kung sakali."
He studied the building plan and he was impressed by the combined creativity of those who made it. Nagpatangu tango siya, trying so hard to ignore Celestine's presence just outside the resto. Sa gilid ng mga mata niya ay nakikita niyang kumakain na ang mga ito.
"We have to show this to Zeron. I have a meeting with him tomorrow morning." He declared.
Ram frowned a little. Hindi pa niya nasasabi dito ang planong pag-urong ng pinsan niya sa proyektong ito. Damn that man for giving him a hard time.
"Well, he's just there outside, why don't we join them for a while?"
Umiling siya. "Not a good idea."
"C'mon brad, we should not waste time like this, everything has been taken care of, we're gonna start this building a month from now, kung may kailangan man tayong ikunsulta kay Ze, we should do it now that he's here."
"He wants to back out from this project." Pagtatapat niya dito.
"What?"
"That's why we have a meeting tomorrow."
