Chapter 18 - Meeting

He drove out of there so fast. He didn't even wait for Ramsel. He was so frustrated that he wanted to beat his cousin very hard on  his goddamn face!

Kanina pa nag riring ang cell phone niya na nakalagay sa passenger seat. He intentionally ignored it. It could be Ramsel or Marco or Samantha but the fck he cared!

Zeron arrived on time in the meeting the next day. Kampante pa itong naupo sa visitors chair sa loob ng kanyang opisina. Nagdekwatro pa ito at diretsong nakatingin sa kanya.

"I told Ram about your plan of withdrawing from this partnership, he was not very happy at the news."

"Of course, who would be happy about it? You badly needed my money right?" He answered arrogantly

"Pumirma ka sa kontrata." He reminded. At the back of his mind, he's thinking of punching his arrogant face.

He smirked at him. "I know what you're thinking cousin." Patuya nitong sabi na tila nahuhulaan ang naglalaro sa isip niya. Then the fucker gave him a devilish grin. 

When they were younger, mas madalas na si Ze ang mabilis mapikon sa kanya pero sa ngayon ay kabundok ang pagpipigil niya upang huwag hablutin ang kwelyo ng sariling pinsan at paduguin ang pagmumukha nito. Damn! He couldn't be feeling this murderous just because of a woman.

"What could be the worst move from Ram kung itutuloy ko parin ang pag-atras ko sa project na to?" Kaswal na pagpapatuloy nito.

He calmed the extremely engaged demon inside of him before responding to his question. "He's planning to file legal complaint against you."

"Alright. Accepted. I will face you both in the court."

"We don't want to end up that way kaya kita kinakausap ngayon ng matino!"

He rolled his eyes. "Really? I want Samantha out of this project. If you do that, the deal in on."

Napasandal siya sa swivel chair. He's really tempted to tell him the truth so he would leave Celestine alone. Nangangati na siyang sabihin dito na hindi nito pinsan si Samantha. But he doesn't want to ruin his sister's plan. It's her own way of turturing Ze, make him believe that they are still cousins but make him fall inlove with her again at the same time. Somehow, he enjoyed Samantha's cruel idea kung hindi lang pati ang damdamin niya para kay Celestine ay naapektuhan na.

"Yun lang?"

"Yes."

"Okay, we'll remove Samantha from this project."

"Good. Another thing."

"Akala ko ba iyon lang?"

"I want you to leave Celestine alone."

Ilang minuto din silang nagsukatan ng tingin ng lalake. He didn't even blink a little. Seconds later, Ze stood up to get out from his office. He recorded their conversation para wala itong lusot sakaling magplano na naman itong umatras. But fuck the man, he wanted to threw the recorder on the man's back! Bull shit! How dare him threaten him to stay away from what he legally owned?!

He inhaled deeply at pabagsak na isinandal ang sarili sa swivel chair. Pumikit siya at nahilot ang sentido. He was thinking of Celestine, her beautiful face...her round expressive eyes...her luscious lips...the way she responded to his kisses in total passion. Fck! he needed a break!

The phone beside him rang. He picked it up "What is it  Brand?"

"Ms. Georgina is on line number 2 Jordan."

"Alright transfer the call."

He was immediately directed to Georgina.

"Jordan, I've been calling you since last night..."

He remembered the phone on his car's passenger seat, naiwanan niya ang cell phone sa sasakyan.

"Sorry honey, is there a problem?"

Narinig niyang humihikbi ito sa kabilang linya.

"Jordy I need you here, I'm here at your condo's lobby. Aantayin kita dito. Can I stay with you for at least a week?"

"I thought you're in Paris?"

"Only for two days, I decided to go home, I need to tell you something very important Jordy."

"Alright, antayin mo ako diyan."

"Thank you."
