Chapter 23 - Electrified

She woke up with a smile on her lips. Nagtataka pa siya at madilim pa rin ang paligid. Nadako ang tingin niya sa wall clock na nakasabit sa gitna ng silid. It was only 4'oclock in the morning? Pakiramdam niya ay tanghali na dahil sa lalim ng tulog niya. Nilingon niya si Jordan sa kanyang tabi, nakapatong ang kaliwang braso nito sa tiyan niya. Inubos ni Georgie ang laman ng tasa ng kape bago tumayo.
"I'll leave for now...just to give you guys privacy, baka kasi nakakaistorbo ako sa inyo." Pagkuwa'y tinungo nito ang pintuan palabas ng condo unit. She wanted to follow her, to talk to her pero ano pa ang sasabihin niya? Nanghihinang binuksan niya ay ref at nagsalin ng tubig sa baso. Her hand trembled when she drunk water from the glass. "Good morning, I thought you left..." He was looking at her intently.
