"How is she?"
"You have the nerve to come in here?"
"Jordan, that punch was meant for you."

Pareho silang nakatitig sa magandang mukha ni Celestine na kasalukuyang natutulog sa hospital bed. Mamayang gabi ay pwede ng ilabas ni Jordan ang asawa. The doctor said there's nothing to worry about. She just bleed dahil malakas talaga ang suntok na tumama sa mukha nito.

"You should be thankful nothing serious happened to her. Or else, I will put you to jail!"

"I do not owe you an apology Jordan. I'll talk to Celestine once she's up."

Jordan advanced a single step toward his cousin. "You are not coming near my wife, you understand?"

Ze didn't joggle a little bit.

"Huh! She's your wife now? Why did you suddenly change your mind? Iniwan mo si Celestine noong araw mismo ng kasal ninyo! Kung kelan nakahanap na siya ng magmamahal sa kanya ay saka mo babawiin ang kaligayahan niya?! Aren't you too selfish for that huh Jordan?"

"Magmamahal sa kanya, you say? Don't use my wife to heal your wounded ego and pride my dear cousin. Fix your own shit with Samantha! Oh by the way, I have a great news for you, you are going to be a father!" Deklara ni Jordan sa naniningkit na mga mata.

Namutla si Ze. Panic crossed his face. His Adams apple seemed to bulge a little larger. "What do you mean?"

"You did not know, did you? Well congratulations You just impregnated your own cousin!" He mocked. Enjoying the trouble he pictured on Ze's mind.

Napailing si Zeron. "You're just shitting on me!"
"Are you telling me that you did not touch her?!"

Ze is speechless. Or maybe shocked. Kinuha ni Jordan ang cellphone sa bulsa and then scanned his previous messages from a chat application. He showed a picture to Ze. A screenshot of an ultrasound result sent from Samantha.

Ze swallowed hard again. Putlang putla na ito ngayon.

"If you notice kung kelan na-send sakin ni Samantha to, it was a month ago. Do the math cousin." Tuya ni Jordan saka ibinalik ang cellphone sa bulsa.

Tila binagsakan ng langit at lupa si Ze. Kung di lang nagpupuyos ang kalooban ni Jordan sa pagkakasuntok nito kay Celestine ay malamang naawa na siya sa itsura ni Zeron. He is obviously guilty. And terrified that he really made his own cousin pregnant!

"You want me to save at least your conscience about this? Samantha is not really your cousin."

He revealed. Damned be damned! He might betray his sister for this but it is time that Zeron should know so he wouldn't bother his wife anymore. Agad na dumapo ang mga mata nito sa kanya.

"What?"
"She's my mother's daughter with another man. Not my with dad. Meaning, hindi kayo magpinsan."

Zeron is shock even more.
"Did she know about this?"
"Yes."
"Why didn't you tell me?!" He raised his voice in frustration.

"Oh! You're blaming me now? Samantha didn't want you to know!"
"She did this on purpose?!"
Nagkibit siya ng balikat.
"Why should I deny that Ze? My sister really played it clean right? Making you still believe you were cousin while seducing you? What a cruel plan to make you pay after hurting her so bad huh? You deserve it!"

Nagtagis ang mga bagang ni Zeron sa mga sinabi niya. Tinulak siya nito na tila naghahamon uli ng suntukan. "I don't believe you!"
