We were now sat in a booth in the back of IHop scanning through the menu, well I pretended to read the menu I already knew what I wanted. Pancakes of course. "So." I closed my menu and pushed it to the side and rested my elbows on the tables and propped my head in place on my hands. Luke looked up from the menu before smiling gazing into my eyes he rose his eyebrow signaling for me to continue. "What's the 411? Like tell me are there any girls you take an interest to? You know since you know about my love life I want to take an interest in yours." I took a sip of my Dr.Pepper, eyes not once leaving his. He reluctantly  opened his mouth before closing his menu and pushing it off to the side. He placed his elbows on the table mocking my previous actions and I playfully rolled my eyes. "There is this one girl, She is absolutely amazing. She has just the perfect smile and I love watching her eyes light up when she gets the tiniest bit excited. And the way she tries her best to make everyone happy even when you can see the slight hint of sadness in her eyes though she's great at masking it, it doesn't fool me. However her laugh, Her laugh is the tune that I could never grow tired of it. Her eyes squint and her nose scrunches up and in that moment time stops and I take in her beauty. I know that I can be myself around her, and she won't judge me In fact she's silly with me and knows how to make me laugh.I love how she doesn't take things too seriously. But most of all I love how she's not perfect, like me.

Watching him describe her hurt, Yet the fact one person can make him this happy, How she can make his eyes glow as each word slowly fell from his lips like he was careful choosing his words even tho he knew no word could describe her as amazing as she is. She's lucky. I felt the hint of jealously slowly creeping upon my skin until it was distracted by our waitress appearing at the foot of our table to take our order. " We'll have your pancakes please with hash browns and" He squinted his eyes looking at me. "With your scrambled eggs but no sausage instead can We substitute that with" He tilted his head to the side still staring at me. "Bacon." He grabbed both menus and handed them to the waiter as she smiled and walked off as I stood their in awe. "How?" My mouth slightly dropped. "Hmmm?" He asked playing dumb. "Don't play dumb how did you know exactly what I wanted just by looking at me?" I crossed my arms looking dumbfounded directly at him." Oh I didn't that's just what I get but I guess we like the same things." He shrugged before taking a sip of his drink. "Any way, What's your biggest fear?" He asked before sitting back. "What? Um I don't know I guess-" I paused to think carefully. "I guess, I don't know I guess being alone?" I looked down to the table before back up at him fideling with the straw wrapper on the table. "What about you?" I sat back. "Being attacked by an angry banana." He said the words as if he said them on the daily. "You know what Luke Hemmings? You are officially the most weirdest yet entertaining person I have ever met." I felt a smile form on my lips slowly beginning to realize how happy this boy could make me.

We ate in silence but it was a comfortable silence. One that I could sit in for hours yet not be bored. "you know what I've always wondered?" He asked staring at his empty plate with excess ketchup on the side. We both eat our eggs with ketchup which I smiled at. "What have you always wondered Luke." I took my last bite of pancakes before pushing my plate away from me."If you mated a bull dog and a shitsu, would it be called a bullshit?" I thought for second slightly sharing the curious feeling with him. "I don't know but that would definitely be something I want to know. Oh I got a question. Where in the nursery rhyme does it say humpty dumpty is an egg?"  I thought whilst he did as well completely coming up with no answer whatsoever. "I don't know." He pouted. "Come on." He threw a 20 on the table before reaching grabbing my hand and dragging me towards the exit. "Where are we going?" I asked as the breeze slowly blew the hair out of my face leaving me slightly breathless. "On an adventure and we shall tell stupid jokes and cheesy pick up lines on the way." He smiled before heading left from IHop and I had no choice but to follow
