"Anna... are.. are you okay?" I whispered
"Alex, I wanted to tell you! I just..." she trailed off
Tears started pouring out of my eyes.
"Your hair.." I mumbled
"I know. I miss it." she cast her eyes down
I walked up to her and crushed her into a hug, "I wish you told me."
"I didn't want to increase your troubles." she shrugged
"Hey! Do the rest of us get hugs?!" Connor joked in attempt to lighten the mood
"Well, I don't know..." I smiled
"Come here, Lex!" he laughed pulling me into a hug
I went down the line and hugged Luke, Jessie, Matthew, and Brian.
"Guys this is Austin." I gestured to the tan skinned boy behind me
"Hey man!" Luke greeted as he and Austy did that bro hug thing, "I feel like I already know you from everything I hear from Alex and Anna."
"Luke!" Anna and I both shrieked
Brian laughed, "That was so much more embarrassing for Anna than it was for Alex."
"Shut up, gay boy." Anna muttered
"Never, fangirl." he shot back
"Peace and love, guys." I giggled
I was so happy. Besides Anna's surprise, everything was great.
"Hey, how bout you guys go show Austin something." Jessica told the guys
"Um like what?" Matthew asked
"I don't know. Go give him a tour of town." Jess shrugged
"Trying to get rid of us?" Connor teased
"Yup. Now leave." Anna ordered
"So feisty!" Luke chuckled
The boys all filed out one by one and Luke shot me a wink before he left. I couldn't help but blush.
Once they all left, Anna and Jessica turned to me expectantly.
"Um yes?" I quieted an eyebrow
"Spill." they chorused
"Spill what?" I pretended to be clueless only knowing that it would piss them off
"ARE YOU GUYS DATING." Anna yelled
I shook my head, "We both like each other. He asked me out but I turned him down. I just wasn't ready for a relationship after everything."
"As long as you accept his offer next time." Anna threatened
"Or Luke. Or you could go out with Luke." Jessie smirked
"Luke?" I asked shocked, "Luke Anderson? Our Luke?"
"No Alexa. The other Luke who just winked at you which made you turn red." Jess rolled her eyes
"You guys have always had chemistry." Anna agreed
"It's called being best friends." I mumbled
"Whatever." Jess smirked
"Anna Reese." I said suddenly
"EW I AM NOT MARRYING MATTHEW!" She shrieked
"It's a possibility." Jessie laughed
"No no no." Anna shook her head furiously
