Austin's POV

I can't believe I did that. I'm so stupid.

Obviously she wouldn't be ready for a relationship. Her whole family died like three months ago.

I have to be the worlds stupidest male.

And to make it worse, I kind of made it really awkward.

I didn't know she was gonna reject me though! Everyone told me that she liked me. She even kissed me!

Sighing, I ran my hand through my already messed up brown hair.

I was laying on my couch watching re-runs of Full House but I really wasn't paying attention.

I was too busy thinking about Alexa.

She was so perfect. She had beautiful wavy blonde hair that framed her tiny face so well. Her big, doe brown eyes tended to always have a sense of sadness about them which I wanted to drive away. The way her nose scrunches up when she's confused is by far the most adorable thing ever. And don't even get me started on her accent.

Alex's southern drawl makes me go crazy. Hearing her voice sends chills down my spine and my heart beats 100x faster.

It's crazy how fast I fell for her. When I first met her, I just knew she was the one. She was the girl who would complete me.

She has the power to make me or break me and she doesn't even know.

I'm head over heels for her and she's oblivious.

"AUSTIN. GET OFF THE COUCH." Alex yelled as the door slammed behind him

"No." I groaned

"She likes you, man. She's not ready." Alex smiled as he came in the room

"She rejected me." I pointed out

"Yeah. She's not ready." Alex rolled his eyes

"I get that but still." I pouted

"Dude, trust me she likes you. When anyone mentions your name, her eyes light up. She'll get this goofy smile on her face. It's stupid really cause who would like you." he chuckled at the last bit

"Rude." I pretended to be hurt

"Seriously though. She likes you. Just give her time." he patted my head

I raised my eyebrows, "Patting my head? Really?"

"Your hair was messy." he shrugged

"I really question your sexuality sometimes." I shook my head

"I would go gay for you but you like Alexa." he pouted

"Sorry to crush you, bro." I chuckled

Alex always boosted my mood.

"Kentucky?" I asked

I was on the phone with my manager. He wanted me to do a promoting concert in Kentucky.

"Yeah..no yeah i'll go." I nodded

I was going to Kentucky next week. And I could bring one person with me.

That one person was definitely gonna be Alexa.

It might be awkward but she deserved to go.

Unless she won't want too.. I mean the last time she was there was a painful time.

I sighed out loud and called Alexa.

"Hi Austin." she picked up on the first ring

"Do you wanna visit Kentucky?" I asked

"Well, yeah of course."

"What if I told you that you could go on Friday?"

"I wouldn't believe you."

I chuckled, "My manager is having me go there and he gave me two plane tickets one for me and one for someone else. I thought you might want to visit."

"You're lying."

"Would I lie to you?"

"OH MY GOD AUSTIN YOU'RE AMAZING!"

"Woah Alex, that's what you say after sex."

"Austin!" she gasped, "You suck!"

"Actually that's your job."

"AUSTIN!" she shrieked, "You're such a pervert!"

"You are too if you got the joke."

"I hate you."

"I can give the plane ticket to someone else."

"I was just kidding, duh."

"We're leaving Friday morning."

"I'll be there."

"See you tomorrow?"

Tomorrow was Monday and we were gonna study together. I didn't know if she still wanted to though.

"Of course! See you tomorrow!"

She hung up the phone and I sighed with relief. At least she wasn't avoiding me.

And now she's going to Kentucky with me for a week.

This was great.

"Austin!" she moaned trying to grab the pencil from me

"Alexa!" I mocked her tone

"I'm sorry but that sounded so weird." she shook her head

"You loved the thought, really." I smirked

She smirked back, "A little full of ourselves are we, Mahone?"

"Got that right, babe."

It was the pointless flirting that I loved so much. I don't know if she actually means it but just hearing those things made me not care for the time being.

"Sorry to break it to you, hot stuff but I think you're a bit too egotistical for my liking."

"You calling me hot stuff doesn't help." I teased

She giggled.

We were trying to study anatomy but it wasn't going to well.

We were laying in my room per usual just messing around.

"Hey Austin?" she asked suddenly serious

"Yeah?"

"I really like you. I really really do."

I was silent waiting for her to finish.

"I just can't love yet." she shrugged

She liked me! Yes!

"It's okay, I understand. But can we still do this?" I smirked leaning in close to her

"I don't know, depends on what you're gonna do." she teased

I pressed my forehead to hers and I cupped her cheek with my hand. She smiled up at me, "That's all, huh?"

I smirked, leaning even closer. My lips were almost against hers and I saw her close her eyes.

"No, I was thinking more like this." I murmured against her lips

"Mmmm I guess we can still do this then." she breathed

I smiled and closed the gap between us.

Just kissing her sent tingles down my spine.

She was perfect. Everything about her was totally flawless.

I just can't help it, I think I'm falling in love with Alexa Foster.
