Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep

"What the hell?" I murmured

"Alex, language." Aunt Gina's voice spoke

I opened my eyes and looked around the room.

I was clearly in the hospital. Austin, Alex, Brynn, Liam, Valerie, Robert, and Aunt Gina were standing around the bed looking at me.

"Someone care to explain why I'm the hospital?" I quirked an eyebrow

"She speaks!" Alex cheered

"Nestor told us that you fell on your face a few times and were bleeding a lot. Then when you went to clean up you fainted, hit your head against the wall which started bleeding and you were unconscious and you know have stitches so yeah." Valerie shrugged

"Figures. I could never do blood." I groaned

"Clearly." Liam snorted

"Aw shut up, Li." I chuckled

"Alexa, I hate to say it but I think cheer needs to stop." my aunt said in a disproving tone

She so did not hate saying that.

"Aunt Gina!" I cried

"I'm serious."

"Mom, you can't do that." Brynn protested

"Brynn Leanne Jackson stay out of this." Aunt Gina snapped

"Aunt Gina, you really can't do that!" I said, panic clear in my voice

"Mrs. Jackson, I don't think now's the best time to argue. Alex needs to rest." Austin butted in

Thank The Lord for Austin Mahone.

She pursed her lips into a disproving line, "Fine. But this isn't over, Alexa."

"Don't worry about her." Alex said rubbing my hand

He said it loud enough for everyone to hear. Seeing Aunt Gina's face was priceless.

"Can someone get me food?" I whined

"We're on it!" Austin saluted

He, Robert, and Alex exited the room to go on a quest for food.

"Alexa, you're sleeping over Friday, just so you know." Valerie told me

"No she's not." Aunt Gina spoke

"Sounds good, babe." I laughed, totally ignoring my aunt's previous remark.

"How are you feeling, Miss Foster?" a tall doctor probably in his fifties walked in.

"I'm feeling better." I smiled at him

"That's good. Now who's the guardian here?" he asked

Aunt Gina raised her hand.

"Wonderful, okay we are ready to discharge her after performing some

quick tests."

My aunt nodded.

"Now, Alexa, no physical activity until the stitches come out. Since we had to stitch up your skull, it's a lot more serious than if it were your leg."

"But I have cheer and our first competition is in three weeks!" I whined

"Alex, listen to the doctor. It's what's best." Valerie shot me a sympathetic smile

I pouted. I couldn't just miss cheer. It's like forgetting to eat.

"Fine." I huffed

"Only til the stitches come out." Doctor Robinson grinned kindly
