Hunter and Panic Attacks

"Austin!" I shrieked, "Put me down!"

Austin currently had me up on his shoulders. How he managed that, I don't know but I do know that if I tried to get off, I'd fall and die.

"Never, babe." he chuckled

"You don't even know where we're going!"

"Back to your house? We've seen everything."

"Do you know how to get to my house?"

"That's why you're my GPS, duh."

"Turn left in .4852 miles."

"I don't even know where that would be." he laughed

We continued walking but in silence.

"Alexa? Is that you?" Officer Scotts asked

"Officer Scotts! Hi!" I scrambled off Austin's shoulders to greet the sheriff.

"How are you?" he asked caringly

"I'm holding up." I admitted

"That's good. I don't know if this is a good time but we actually found the man who..." he trailed off. Not wanting to say the 'k' word.

"Killed my family?" I finished for him

"Yeah." he nodded

"I'd love to see him." I stated

"Come by the office at 2." Officer Scotts instructed, "Bye Alex. It was wonderful seeing you again."

"Likewise, officer!"

Officer Scotts walked away and I heaved a sigh.

"Are you sure you wanna do that?" Austin asked cautiously

"I want to beat up whoever did this. I want to fucking kill him. Yes I'm sure." I muttered

"Okay. Do you want me to go with you?" he questioned

I shook my head, "Anna, Jess, and Luke have to go. They were my parent's adopted children. They deserve to go."

"Plus you need the support of your closest friends." Austin finished off

I looked at him shocked.

"I know things." he smirked

"Thanks Austy." I whispered

"Anytime, babe. Now lets get you home."

"LUKE! JESS! ANNA! WE'RE LEAVING NOW." I screamed for the billionth time

"We're coming! God Alex!" Jess groaned

I was scared. I was about to meet the person who left me alone. I was about to meet the person who ruined my life.

In no way was I responsible for my words and actions during the next hour.

Luke came from the kitchen and Anna and Jessica thundered down the stairs.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Anna whispered

I nodded my head. Blonde curls falling over my shoulder, "Yeah. I need to."

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my friends share an uneasy look. I shrugged it off. They were just looking out for me.

We all piled out the door and into Luke's truck.

"Alexa we don't have to do this..." Jessica started

"Yes we do." I countered, "I want to."
