I looked over at Alex in the passenger seat. She looked so flawless. She was singing along to One Direction with a huge smile on her face. She was doing stupid little hand motions just to make me laugh. And it was working.
"Take it away, Austin!" she laughed as Harry's solo in What Makes You Beautiful came up
I winked at her and started singing, "Baby, you light up my world like nobody else the way that you flip your hair gets my overwhelmed and when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell.."
"YOU DON'T KNOW OH OH! YOU DON'T KNOW YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!" we belted out together
We've been driving for about 45 minutes now. I decided I was gonna take her to the beach even though it was winter and it looked like it was about to rain.
The beach was another 30 minutes away. But I still wasn't gonna tell her where we were going if she asked which knowing Alexa, she'll ask within 5 minutes.
"Ooo! I love this song!" Alex cried
Thrift Shop by Macklemore flooded the car
"I'm gonna pop some tags, only got twenty dollars in my pocket, I-I-I'm huntin, looking for a dollar, this is fucking awesome." we sang

"Its pouring! You're crazy! But its the best idea ever!" Alex exclaimed once I pulled my Range Rover onto the sand.
It was completely empty. I backed it so that we could open the trunk and face the ocean.
We climbed over the seat to sit in the back. We had just stopped by Subway so we were basically having a picnic on the beach in the pouring rain.
"You know, I've never been to the beach." Alex said
"You're joking right?" I asked shocked
"Nope. I'm dead serious. I've swam in lakes and creeks but thats it." she shrugged
"Wow. Well this summer, we're going to the beach all the time." I smiled
"Sounds good." she grinned
The music was still playing but other than that, we finished our subs in silence.
Alexa was studying the ocean and I could tell she wanted to jump in.
"Just cause it's raining, doesn't mean we can't still swim." I suggested
"We're in jeans." she pointed out
"YOLO?" I looked at her
Slowly, a smile spread across her face, "YOLO." she laughed
She jumped off and onto the sand. I followed her lead. She ran out into the rain. Instantly, she was drenched. Her shirt clung to her like it was painted on.
"You coming?" she called over the rain that was pounding down
I grinned and ripped off my shirt before following her out.
I felt a sense of satisfaction when I saw her checking me out.
I studied her. Her normally wavy hair clung to her shoulders and back and was a lot darker than usual. She had a bit of makeup running down her face but she still looked adorable. She had rolled up her jeans up and taken off her shoes. I looked down to her stomach where I knew some would be exposed since she was wearing a crop top. Since it clung to her, I could see the outline of her toned stomach and the hint of abs. The shirt had ridden up a bit so I could see her belly button ring too. Which was extremely hot.
"Austin?" she asked
"Yeah?"
"Do I have makeup running down my face?" she looked geniunely concerned that there might be some.
"Just a little, here, I got it." I smiled
I wiped my thumb across her face to get rid of the excess makeup.
"Thanks." she grinned
After I let go, she took off running towards the water.
"Catch up, slowpoke!" she called over her shoulder
I shook my head and smiled. I took off running across the wet sand and caught up to her as she reached the water.
She ran in all the way to her chest. I followed her.
We swam in the Gulf for a good hour. Excessive lightning forced us to get out.
"You have so much makeup down your face." I laughed
"Get it off!" she commanded me
As I wiped it all off, I noticed how close we were. Our legs were an inch away from each other and our skin was almost touching. All I had to do was lean down a few inches and my lips would be on hers.
I almost leaned down but I stopped myself just in time.
"All off!" I cheered
"Yay!" she giggled
We walked back to the car talking about random crap.
"Here, wear my shirt. Its dry." I handed her the red shirt I had taken off earlier
"Thanks." she smiled at me
Without warning, she peeled off her shirt to put on mine.
I quickly turned away.
"And I think I might have some sweats in here somewhere." I said hiding the blush on my cheeks from seeing Alexa like that.
I know I met her when she was in a bra basically but I don't know. That was just different.
I crawled into the back seat and started to look for an overnight bag that I knew was in here. I was supposed to spend the night at Alex's a few weeks ago but he got sick and I never took the bag out of the car.
"Here." I handed her a pair of black sweatpants.
She grabbed them and climbed into the passenger seat to change as I switched into basketball shorts in the back seats.
"Ready to go?" I asked as I crawled up to the drivers seat
"Yup!" she chirped
She had put her hair up in a ponytail and was currently wipeing off makeup that I had missed.
"I look like a racoon." she pouted
"But racoons are cute." I teased her
"But racoons are cute." she mocked me in a high pitched voice while rolling her eyes
I looked back over her and blushed at the sight of her in my clothes. She looked adorable in them.
"Thanks for taking me here, Austin." she said
"My pleasure." I smiled
I do a lot of smiling around her.
"Really. It was a lot of fun. It was the first time I've really had fun since the accident." she told me honestly
"Well, I'm really glad I could help you have fun again." I replied truthfully
We spent the next 30 minutes in silence. I kept thinking about today's events. How Alexa whined my name while we were in my room turned me on, how the sight of her soaking wet made me crazy, and how I loved that she was wearing my clothes.
She was perfect.
