Hey sorry if there's any spelling errors! I will go over it later and fix it up.

Btw if you guys are wondering if I'll put up some pictures of the characters well I recently put up a pic of Grace on chapter 1 and a pic of Jake on chapter 2. Don't ask why I put them on those chapters I just did. Anyway I'll stop talking now. Enjoy!!

AMAZING GRACE- Chapter 8

Ugh! I had a killer headache! At first I thought it was just a hangover but then I remembered what happened last night. From going on a picnic from meeting Ralf to finding out that Jake could manipulate fire and possibly be super strong. It could just be from his muscles but I doubt that seeing as he lifted Ralf up so easily. Why didn't he tell me he was like me?

He probably didn't know, a voice in the back of my head informed me. Well I guess it makes more sense if he didn't know so I'll just stick to that for now. My head is hurting too much for me to think straight. Wow that branch must have hit me really hard in the face if I had a really bad headache. I heal fast so why is the headache not gone?

I looked around. Huh I was in Jakes room. I haven't been in here many times, all the other nights we've been sleeping in my room. And no we did not go any further then that. Just because he's my mate doesn't mean I'm willing to give my v-card to him the first thing I lay eyes on him. Yes I'm 20 years old and I'm still a virgin. Sue me. I never found a good enough reason to give it up. Sure I've had boyfriends but I just wasn't ready I guess. And come on. I'm only 20. Yes I'm out of high school and yes I am an adult but that doesn't mean that I am ready for the birds and the bees to happen. Yet.

Jakes room is really cozy. He has a king sized bed with dark blue covers. He has a big window that shows the backyard. He has all the essentials a room has. A closet, desk, yada yada yada.

As I was admiring his room when I heard the door open and I swiveled around to see who it was.

"hey your up, here I got you a glass of water." Jake walked over to the bed and held out the glass for me. I sculled it down. Wow I was really thirsty. Jake sat on the edge of the bed and watched me. I finished my drink and set the glass down on the table next to the bed.

"Are you okay?" Jake asked. He moved closer and wrapped his arms around me.

"I'm fine, but the real question is are you okay?"

Jake looked away. Was he afraid? I gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. "Jake it's okay you can tell me," I calmly said. I brought my hand up and gently turned his face so he was looking at me.

Jake took a big breath. "Just forget about it okay? I don't care what happened, I only care about you. What happened last night is over and we are going to keep it that way alright?" and with that Jake let go of my hand and walked out of the room.

What just happened? Dumbfounded I picked myself up out of the bed and chased after him.

"Jake! Wait! We have to talk about this! I don't care about those guys either. I only care about you! I know you shot fire out of your hands and I know you picked up ralf like he weighed nothing. Why are you just ignoring this Jake?" I practically shouted at him. We were in the kitchen now and he had stopped and turned around when I came in the room after him.

"Did you already know you could do that?" I asked quietly. If he knew, then why didn't he tell me? The pain that one thought caused me was like a stab in the heart. A big stab. He doesn't trust me? I looked up at him only to see my emotions reflecting on his face too. Hurt. Pain. Confusion.

"No." He answered and stepped closer to me. "No I didnt know. If I did you would already know that."

"Then why don't you want to talk about it?Are you scared? It's okay if you are, just, please talk to me."

"Grace, the only thing I'm scared of is losing you." He brushed my hair behind my ear and pulled me close to him. My heart sped up. How did I get so lucky?

"I'm not going anywhere," I reassured. I placed my hands on his chest. "Just please, don't keep things from me."

Jake took a big breath. "I don't know what happened. One minute I furious and the next minute fire was coming out of my hands. You have to understand that this is a lot to take in."

"I know and it's okay. I admit I was a little shocked you could do that and you had so much power and control and it was only your first time!"

"Really? So I'm guessing that makes me an immortal like you. No more human Jake." He joked, but I could see he was still trying to get his head around it.

"Your just like me." I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. I went in my tiptoes and he brought his head down to meet mine. I gently bit his lower lip and he moaned in response. He opened his mouth and our tongues collided. I could feel Jake's hands coming around to latch onto my butt. He picked me up and set me on the counter so we were the same height. I wrapped my legs around him and brought him closer. I pulled away to catch a breath and Jake went from occupying my lips to my jaw. There he trailed kisses down my neck and stopped at the tender part near my collar bone. He started sucking on it and I moaned. One of his hands were tangled up in my hair while his other hand was holding me tight against his body. I put my hands on Jakes head and brought his lips back to mine. Eventually we both pulled apart. He rested his forehead against mine and we were both breathing heavily from the big make out session.

"You are something special Grace Storm." He looked at me adoringly.

"So are you Jake Hunter. So are you." And with that I pulled his lips to mine again.

So there you go!

Sorry I took so long uploading, there were some difficulties. Sorry if it's a little short too, I know exactly what's going to happen in the next chapter and I promise it will be a long one. This one was just a filler so I had some more time to figure out exactly what was going to happen next.

feel free to vote, comment, fan ;) trust me I won't mind if you do :D
