I hadn't contacted Luke in four days, it was slowly but surely killing me. I never knew how much I needed to be around him before, but I noticed it now. On the plus side, the bruising had gone away significantly so I guess I could go and see him later today; but I would have to wear a bit more make up than usual to make sure he didn't see the bruises coming through.

But the sad thing about it was is that I don't even know if Luke would want to see me, I've been ignoring him for days so why would he?

I guess there's only one way to find out.

I rolled over in bed and grabbed my phone from the night stand. I dialled Luke's number and pressed 'call'.

"Sarah?" He replied, sounding quite shocked. I don't blame him.

"Hey Luke"

"Wow, I wasn't expecting to hear from you...is everything okay?"

"Yeah everything's fine" I lied.

"Do you maybe want to do something today? I have a lot to tell you"

"Could you come over, I don't feel like doing much today" He laughed before sighing,

"I'll bring the food, pick a movie and get the blankets. I'll be there in half an hour"

"Goodbye Luke" I dragged out his name, making him laugh yet again.

"See you soon beautiful"

As I was gathering blankets and pillows ready for when Luke arrived I couldn't help but think about how he might have needed the space in order to get better. Seeing him with his friends, joining in with their manly conversations must have done him a load of good as he seems to be talking a lot more fluently now. I am just wishing he doesn't ask too many questions as to why I haven't spoke to him in a while. My thoughts were soon interrupted by a loud knock at the door. I walked over and opened it up as fast as I could.

"Hello you" He said.

Oh god did I miss that beautiful boy.

I pulled him in and closed the door behind him. He immediately pulled me into a warm embrace; I knew he had missed me and I made sure he knew I missed him too by hugging him as tightly as I possibly could.

"I have a few things I need to talk to you about Sar..." He began as he pulled away from the embrace. I simply nodded and followed him through to the living room, sitting opposite to him on one of the couches.

"Do you hate me or something? Like, why have you been ignoring me for ages? Did I do something?" I sighed, I didn't want to actually tell him what happened but I knew he wouldn't stop until I had.

"No, I don't hate you. It's just...my parents came back and they found out about me skipping school to come and help you-"

"Did they hurt you again?" He cut me off, looking extremely worried at this point.

"No, they just made sure I didn't leave the house for the week, I guess you could say they grounded me" I lied.

"Okay...I have something else to ask you" His cheeks began to turn pink as he clearly thought about what he was going to say. It took him a while to begin but I didn't bother him about it as that would probably make him even more nervous.

"Do you remember the, um, the deal we made on the night of the crash?" He paused to look at me, trying to read my face as I hadn't said anything.

I remembered the deal all too well. I mean, how could I forget it? It was the first time Luke had actually told me that he wanted to be with me. It made my heart flutter that he still remembered it under the circumstances.

I still hadn't said anything but he chose to carry on anyway.

"Well, you said that this tour was the reason we shouldn't try things with us, right? But, management think its best if we took a year off because of the crash as they don't think it would be healthy for me. I guess they just want us to take a break to focus on getting better."

I knew what he meant.

"So?" I added on, smiling slightly at the thought of finally being with Luke.

"Do we...do we have a deal?" His cheeks turned that famous shade of pink that I have grown to adore.  My smile was now reaching from ear to ear, as was his.

"We have a deal" Before I had even finished my sentence properly, Luke's lips were already pressed against mine. It wasn't needy or rough though; it was gentle and meaningful, as if he wanted to savour this moment and remember it. I was pulled closer to Luke as he placed his hands under my top to rest on my bare hip. His thumb gently drew patterns on my skin as we continued kissing, only pulling away to catch our breaths. He ran the pad of his thumb over my lip whilst staring lovingly at me.

"What is it Luke?" I asked as he kept staring at my lips, not making any movement.

"Nothing...you're just perfect for me" He placed a gentle kiss on my nose and pulled me into his chest, cuddling me. He seemed distracted by something.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you're everything I ever want and need. I just hope you feel the same"

"Baby...of course I feel the same way. You're perfect for me too" I nuzzled my face into his neck and placed a few gentle kisses there. I knew he liked that as he pulled me closer and moved his head to the side. After a few more kisses, he cupped my face to bring it to his.

Only, he pressed on one of the bruises I had covered with make up. I yelped out in pain which made him pull away and look closer at my face.

I guess the make up had faded a lot more than I had thought as his face showed signs of both anger and worry as he looked at the bruises.

"You lied to me?"
