Finally, school ended. I didn't really feel like hanging out with my girls like those other happy days. I stepped out of the classroom with students rushing through the balcony, shoving my shoulders off their way. Since last week, Colton hadn't been with me much after school, like he used to. I can't help but always get this feeling that he's meeting Jessica. Maybe. Probably not. I jogged my way down the staircase, skipping steps all the way.
"Girls, I won't be joining you later on. I need to rush home," I said as though there were problems at home. The only problem I have is with myself.
Without even saying another word, I turned away and walked off, leaving them speechless seeing how I was acting that weird.
I felt that anger in me for Colton. Maybe because of the thought that he's meeting Jessica. Sigh. I took out my phone and earpiece, and just shut the world out. I'd always walk pass the void deck of Jessica's house everyday on my way home. And I caught sight of a familiar schoolbag. It looked like Colton's.
Curious, I went to check it out. Heart shattered into millions of pieces. I couldn't help but to peek and look at what was going on. He was giving an anklet the same one that I wore, to her.
