Masen POV-
When I finally get off at noon I go home and it's empty because Blake doesn't get off until three or four most days so I go and grab Nolan's number out of drawer and call him. He doesn't answer so I leave him a message telling him to leave me alone that it was a one night stand and not to be creepy.
I exhale relieved to finally have that over with. I go look in the kitchen and see everything is fully stocked. My mouth waters at all the treats I see in the cabinets. I pull out the Oreos and start munching away before putting them back and changing into some sweats.
When I come back into the living room I notice all Blake's things on the love seat just thrown haphazardly. I take his clothing into my room and start moving things around and reorganizing my stuff so Blake's can fit. It takes about two hours to get all his clothing sorted, hung, and put away. Then I move on to his knick knacks, he only has a few from when we went to Vegas and some from the time he went to the beach with Jenny I put them on the shelf under the TV and they actually make my place look homey.
It's getting close to four so I decide to start some dinner. I open all the cabinets and fridge and decide to make some spaghetti with garlic bread. Nothing to fancy but it will work. I work around the kitchen getting use to it since I haven't really yet. I work for about thirty minutes before the door opens. "Honey I'm home." Blake says teasingly and I laugh.
"I'm making supper and it's almost done so get changed." I say in a falsetto playing along. Blake peeks his head into the kitchen taking a big whiff of the aroma. "Yum smells good. Do I have time for a really quick shower?" I nod. "Yeah the bread has about five more minutes so your good." He makes his way to my room and a minute later I hear the water running. I hum in contentment this feels nice.
I'm pulling the bread out of the oven when Blake makes his way to the table hair still wet in a pair of gym shorts and a white tank top. Everything's already on the table so I sit down and we both dig in. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I ate my first bite now.
"So how was your day honey?" I joke and Blake throws a wadded up napkin at me. "It was fine I was trying to find a lead in my case but nothing so far, I have until the end of the week before it turns into a cold case and another one gets dropped on my lap." Blake sighs.
"I'm sorry that sucks man, I'm sure you will find something tomorrow have you looked at the family members unfortunately they are usually the culprits of vandalism like that or an ex would be my guess."
Blake nods around a mouthful of spaghetti. "Umhum yeah we checked the family but I can't get in touch with the ex and every time I swing by his place no one is there so I think he is my man I just have to prove it now." I nod and take a sip of my beer. "What else is new I have you talked to Jenny anymore."
I see Blake stiffen but nod yes. "Yeah she called and asked what I wanted from the apartment she is thinking about moving so she asked if she could come over and go over everything and she did. We decided I would take the electronics and she could have everything else when comes down to what we spent that makes it pretty even."
I nod. "That's good I guess. Anything you need to store we can put in pops garage." Blake nods. "Yeah I guess I will text Jenny see when she wants me to get the stuff." I watch as Blake pulls out his phone and sends the text.
I smile at him trying to lift his spirits. "Don't worry B you will meet someone soon and you will forget all about Jenny ." Blake nods and starts putting the empty dishes in the sink. I get up and help him load them all in the dish washer. Once we are done we decide to watch a movie on the couch and just unwind from our work day.
As we set down Blake looks at me very seriously so I pay close attention to what he is about to say. "You know you can tell me anything right?" I nod and Blake goes on. "Have you gotten any new things from your stalker?"
