"Artemis, were gonna be leaving the building now, meet us at the cafe across the street." Ares said over the comm channel.

"Got it." I replied.

I picked up my rifle and headed down the stairs. When I reached the ground level I checked outside to see if there was any movement. I scanned for a minute and found nothing then quietly made my way to cafe to find Vincent and Ares sitting down having a drink.

"What are you two doing?" I asked.

Vincent looked up at me.

"Ah hey! Try this stuff its awesome." Vincent said handing me a cup filled with a black liquid inside.

"What is this stuff?"

"Its called coffee I guess, we found this bag full of ground up beans and on the bag it said to put it in this little 'coffee maker' and after a few minutes it filled a pitcher with this stuff! Cool right?"

"Yeah, sure I guess." I said before taking a sip.

'PPFFFFTTTTT!! Ack this shit is disgusting!" I said handing Vincent the cup before going to the sink behind the counter and rinsing out my mouth from the horrid taste.

"Guess it's not for everyone." Ares said chuckling to himself.

"Anyways did you see anything while we were separated? Vincent asked.

I stopped mid action remembering what I had just experienced.

"No, all was clear." I replied.

"All right then. We should probably get a hold of base so they can send us a helo. Ares can you handle that?" Vincent asked.

"Yeah I'll see what I can do." Ares said getting up from his seat and walking out the back door leaving it open.

I walked over to the entrance and scanned the empty city for anything out of the ordinary. Through one of the windows I could make out a figure clouded in shadow to the naked eye. I squinted at the shadow before reaching into one of my pouches pulling out a pair of binoculars, I raised them to my eyes before looking at the shadow again. I got a better view of what I seen and it was a man, he was hooded with a cloak covered in grass with a feather stuck through on one side, he also wore a mask so I couldn't see his face. The man was armed with a MK.11 sniper rifle that had a silencer though he was not aiming at us, instead he only had his gaze fixed on us. He began to pull something out of his pack.

Shit he must have noticed me looking at him. I thought to myself.

The sniper pulled something that made my eyes widen in horror. He held up a patch of flag with stars and stripes in one hand while made a "come here" gesture.

"Hey Artemis something wrong? You see something?" Vincent asked.
