(Bonnie's P.O.V.)

I heard the boom, and immediately looked up to the sky.

Something hit Taylor, hard, sending her spinning. I saw as she fell.

I howled, calling out to her, but I’m sure she didn’t hear. She was a small speck in the sky, something I knew most people wouldn’t be able to see, but I was special so I saw her with perfect detail. It just made me sicker.

While she spun to the right, her wing twisted the other way. Nausea and dizziness threatened to overwhelm me. But I fought it back, I had to get to her…

She was abruptly falling, spiraling towards the earth.

Watching her reminded me of the leaves falling in the fall. orange, red, brown, yellow…twisting, spinning in a marry dance. I smelled again the sent of my Moms perfume, like raspberries. She hugged me close, and I buried my head under her arm. She laughed merrily, just adding to the feeling of magic around us.

It was one of the only memories I had left. Of the happy days at least…

But I pushed this half forgotten memory away.

Hard and harsh were waiting to greet me.

I  ran, my paws hitting the matted earth again and again. I dug my nails into the loam and shot forward, speeding up. I needed to get there before it was too late…
