I Beg You

I jerked Fury around and kicked his sides hard. We galloped until we reached the barn and I jumped off when he was

slowing down I threw him in his stall, planing to untack him later, and ran up to the house.

" CODY'S IN TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled as soon as I entered the building.

" what?" I hear a voice coming from upstairs " I didn't catch that" Isaac. He can't hear a think these days.

" JUST COME DOWN HERE ALREADY!!!!!!!"

"But I'm tired"

" ISSAC!!!! DO YOU EVEN CARE ABOUT CODY!!!!!!"

" how'd you know it 'twas me?" He asked.

" it's obvious. Isn't it?" I said irritated. I soon see 4 sleepy faces at the top of the stairs.

" what's wrong?" Blair asked.

" Cody is in trouble"

" how?"

" don't you know? I thought you knew more about Cody than I did?"

" NO!! He tells all lies!!!! I don't understand how you see something in him." Jenna announced.

" WHAT!!!!!!!!!" I was ticked off.

" I don't see anything in him." That was of course a lie.

" you do. It's the way you look at him. But in my opinion he's a jerk. He made fun of Isaac for having hearing aids, he-"

" wait? You have hearing aids?" I ask Isaac.

" ah, ya." He said embarrassed.

" as I was saying" Blair begun" he called Bailey a girl because Bailey had long hair for a while before you came."

"You what!"

" don't bring it up" Bailey muttered.

" he-"

" I KNOW HE'S A JERK. I KNOW HE LIES ALOT. BUT CANT YOU ALL JUST HAVE SOME SYMPATHY FOR HIM.

HIS DAD BEATS HIM OR IS ABOUT TO. HE RAN AWAY FROM HOME AND NOW HE IS BACK. DONT YOU THINK

HIS DAD WILL BE MAD AT HIM! HUH? " they all looked shocked that I yelled at them. " sorry" I muttered

" no we understand.  Let's go." Blair said walking to the door.

" no you don't " Cora said scaring us all. " you could get hurt."

" but don't you understand? We have to help him." I beg.

" I do understand, but it's to late. His dad won the case. We can't get him back now."

" what?" I didn't understand why we couldn't get him back.

" listen. He isn't a bad person. He lied to you guys because he was terrified of going home. To his dad. Ok. He has been

through a lot more than you have so its best if you leave him alone so he doesn't get into anymore trouble. "

"But she does have a point Genevive." Blair said." You don't want him to get beat even more. Do you?"

" NO! But that's why we have to save him!"

" we can't we-" Cora sighs." This means a lot to you doesn't it?"

" well let's go."

        We drive all night until we reach the neighborhood Cody lives in. Luckily Cora had to pick him up their or we

wouldn't of known where he lived.

" this is it?" I ask. We stopped in front of a shabby little house with boards nailed to the window.

" yep. Ok. I'll be in the next driveway so it doesn't look suspicious." We snuck around to the back of the house and found

that their was a  fence around the property. Their was some boys in it.

" hey, hey over here!" I said.

" is someone their?" A guy with brown hair asked.

" yes me." He walks over to the fence and helps me over the fence.

" hi I'm Chaser."

" I'm Genevive. Cody's girlfriend. "

" what. Cody? Wow. I can't believe he actually found love."

" stop. It's not like that. I need to help him out of here."

" oh. He needs your help!"

" why?"

" follow me "

We walked through some halls, hiding when someone walked by, until we stopped at the corner of one hallway.

" ok. You go around the corner and you will see him. Just keep it quiet."

I slowly walk around the corner and look into a small cell.

It was empty.
