Chapter 2: Eldon

Maya's POV
I am right now practicing my solo for the auditions, it is to Fire by Jeno Gogo, as then Eldon comes in, and I really son't know what he wants with me

I finish my solo feeling scared, he has a weird face, I do wanna know what is up with him right now, I also finish my solo being out of breath

"What do you want?" I ask him, knowing he'll remind me of that night

"Nothing, but I just wanna say why are you so down, I mean, what is wrong, did you mzake that mistake again?"

"Yea, she's two, but one thing, I am never making that same mistake again alright" I scowl at him, feeling upset for what I had just said

"Listen, we've all had mistakes"

"But none" I cry to Eldon "But none, as big as ours"

"Listen, if you don't worry about it everything will be fine ok" Eldon scowls "Now listen, I have to get back to my internationals audition solo" and then he walks out

I get back to my solo, feeling sad inside, knowing I only have one shot at the team

*Later*

I have just finished my solo as I am watching every else' solo I see everyone dancing, and I notice they have amazing connection, I left after I had Skye, and that was two weeks away from Regionals, so I am surprised they made it to nationals

Later everyone is done their solos, I am then hanging out with this one girl who auditioned from Elite named Cierra, she seems really nice

"Alright" Kate says after the final solo is done "You dancers shall now rome freely for twenty minutes before I tell everyone in this room who made the internationals team"

I then decide to head to Culture shock for some hanging out with Riley, so we start to talk and catch up, she has changed

"So, how is James?"

"We are actually dating now" Riley says whilst fiddling with her pop can "Yea, it happened on the day of your absence"

She does not know why I left, I just told Kate saying the worlds "I have to leave the next step for a while" but not why, I have to tell her, but just.. not yet
