Chapter 27: Can't do this anymore

Eldons pov:
I seriously have too much on my mind right now. Mayas been in a coma for a week now and no progress shown. I have so much to handle right now with Maya, the kids, dance not to mention the thing I did with Michelle. I can't believe I did that...

As I pick up Skye from baby ballet she runs up to me.
" Daddy!" She squeals.
" Hey princess did it go well?"
" Uh huh," She says before saying bye to Chloe.

" Daddy can I watch you dance?" Skye asks.
" Sorry Skye but you can't," I say feeling sorry.
" Please," Skye says begging me.
" Skye no means no,"
" Okay, are we going to Nannas?"
" Yeah you have to be good for her and grandad," I say as we get there.

" Hey mum, dad," I say.
" Hey Eldon, Skye and Summer," My mum says taking Summer off me.
" Thanks for taking care of them," I say.
" No problem Eldon there a pleasure too," Mum replies before I say bye.
" Wait daddy!" Skye says before running up to me.
I pick her up and she hugs me tight.
" Love you daddy,"
" Love you Skye," I say before kissing her forehead, making her giggle. I put her down and she goes off with my mum and Summer before I make my way to the studio.

Our Regionals team is ready and I'm excited to start rehearsing.
Once I get there all the memories of me and Maya dancing floods back in. I try to rub it off as I make my way over to the guys.
" Hey Eldon Bro!" West says.
" Hey how ya doing?" I ask.
" Good," James replies, then we get interrupted by Miss Kate.

" Right dancers we are going to be doing some small group work today. Groups of 4 or 3," Miss Kate says.
I decide to pair up with James, Riley and Giselle.

We head to the musicroom to start practicing. We decided on a hip hop/ contemporary dance as it's all our comfort zones mostly. We are working on it really well until I notice the time. Im going to see Maya now.
" Guys I'm sorry but I have to go," I say.
" It's okay Eldon see ya tomorrow," Giselle says before I walk out.

When I walk to my parents house I can't stop thinking about Maya. When I knock on the door Skye comes to me tears in her eyes.
I pick her up and hug her tight.
" I want mummy," Skye cries. She hugs me so tight and I don't let go.
" Skye Sshhh it's Okay," I say but she keeps crying, then my mum comes in.
" She's been like this all day Eldon," My mum says.
Skye quiet down before I put her down.
" No daddy," Skye cries so I pick her back up.
" Eldon take care of her," My mum says in tears herself.
" It's okay Skye do you want to go and see her?" I ask holding back tears.
Skye nods and I leave my mum with Summer.

" Why won't mummy wake up?" Skye asks.
" She can't Skye even if she tried yet," I say whilst holding Mayas hand.
" You can still talk to her you know baby, she might be listening," I tell Skye.
" Okay so mummy today I did ballet with Chloe! I can do 2 pirouettes now and I remember all the positions," Skye smiles at Maya and then me.
" I love you mummy," Skye says before snuggling into me.
" Daddy I want mummy to wake up," She's so confused.
" She will soon Princess,"

I talk to Maya for half an hour before Michelle comes in.
" Hey Eldon, Skye, Maya," Michelle says quietly.
" Hi take a seat," I say.
" Thanks how you doing Maya, it's Michelle here,"
I listen to Michelle talk for a little but before heading home. I pick up Summer on the way and take the girls back home. I wish Maya was here.
