First Day Of School

I wake up feeling excited so I text Tanner to confirm we're still meeting. Then pull my leather jacket on and head out. I pull in and lock up my truck but Tanner looks at me and smiles as I climb on.

Damn you're sexy.

He says making me laugh. We pull in and park next to Maddie then Luke pulls in next to us. He gets out and walks straight to her and they walk in all snuggled up together paying us no attention. Then Will pulls in so I look at Tanner who grins then throws his arm over my shoulderWill grins then shakes his head.

Look at you all leathered out. Good job Tanner.

They slap hands doing a manshake

I look at them unsure but smile anyway.

Hey Will, we met at the college since we both leave after sixth period. You we ride together, right?

Will shrugs as we walk in the school but Tanner keeps his arm over me until we get to my locker while Will goes on to his grinning unhappily seeing Erik walk bye. Then Tanner turns grabbing me, pushing me against the lockers and leaning in close like he's going to kiss me.

Aren't you glad you're as sexy as hell in leather and he's eating his heart out wishing he could have you?

I laugh while Erik and the passing students watch knowing he can't do anything because were not kissing or anything. He kisses my cheek then leans away so I start to walk off but he smacks my bottom.

Tanner!

I yell but he laughs.

Yeah, you keep it up.

He laughs.

Oh I will.

I shake my head and go back to my locker pulling off my leather, revealing my orange strapless top with diamond shimmers on it. I close my locker but Will walks over wrapping his arm over me.

You look very pretty today.

He says before walking me to class.

Thanks. I'll see you next period.

Then Jared walks past giving us a look but Tanner grabs my hand pulling me into class. We sit and Mr. Burns starts teaching but Tanner leans over whispering to me.

You didn't need the leather. You're hot enough without it.

I smile and push him back to his seat. Class rolls on and I do my work then Burns gives homework. Everybody groans but I start on mine, finishing within a few minute to spare. I gather my work and turn it in but he looks at me confused.

Tabitha this was homework not class work.

The class looks up at me but I nod.

I know. I didn't want to sit here and do nothing for twenty minutes so I used my time to do my homework. Can you get me a list for the rest of the weeks work? I'd like to get a headstart on it. Or you can get me a months worth, or as much as possible and I'll get started on it. I get bored easily being advanced.

I hate being stared at but now the entire class is looking. So I look at them.

Are we done staring yet? I'm not gonna do a trick.

I say irritated so they get back to work. After class Tanner acts like he wants to ask questions but he doesn't so we walk to our next class to find Will already in his seat. We don't know why but Mrs. Raglan has assigned us seats.
