Chapter 16 - Last First Kiss

*Harry’s P.O.V.*

We all drove to Cas’ in Paul’s van whilst Cas drove herself. When we arrived she boiled the kettle, enough for all of us, and grabbed the marshmallows out of the cupboard. She pulled out 6 bags, I guess one for each of us. She then grabbed some potato chips, lollies, chocolate, crackers and dip. She was practically making us a feast! This was great! He made us all hot chocolates and we help her take everything to the backyard. I turned on the fire pit whilst the other’s sat and ate, and Niall and Cas got the guitars and printed off the lyrics – I really shouldn’t have left those two alone…

After about 5 minutes they were back and didn’t seem to have any sort of spark between them – good. We set up everything and began playing the first song. We decided to sing the song to Cas first the whole way through. She would make notes and then we would run through a second time making the changes where necessary.

We did this for a good 4 hours. Eating the food as we wanted it – no we didn’t eat it all at once, we were busy working on new material. After the food was gone we decided to order pizza and change the task from re-writing lyrics to writing our song. Cas pulled out her notebook and started writing lyrics on the paper. She grabbed her guitar and started strumming the cords to the song, and then she began to sing her lyrics. It was absolutely mesmerizing. You could tell she was singing from the heart. It must have been about someone in particular, you can’t just make up something that good without it happening to you.

“That’s all I have so far. What do you guys think?” She asked, looking quite worried at our response.

“That was incredible! What if next we put something like Baby tell me what to change; I'm afraid you'll run away if I tell you; What I wanted to tell you yeah” Louis sang the lyrics whilst Cas scribbled it down. She picked up her guitar and they both sang it together. Their voices honestly sounded perfect together, it was going to be an amazing song!

“That’s great Lou!” She said. We all started adding more lyrics. The rest of the lads helped the most, since they all felt that way about her, I suppose the words just came so easy. for me, I had a bit of difficulty. I have never really loved a girl before, so it’s kind of hard for me to write meaningful lyrics. Like I can write stuff, but it’s not from my heart, just my head. It’s not the same as what the other lads can do.

After about 2 hours of playing and replaying. Writing and re-writing lyrics, we finally had the finished product.

“I wanna be last yeah baby let me be your last; Your last first kiss” Louis and Cas sang the final two lines together. Because they sounded the best together out of all of us with Cas, it only seemed right for the song.
