Chapter 25 – Endlessly

“Cas…”

It was all he managed to choke out as we both stared into each other’s eyes. Green locked on green. My heart was pounding a million miles an hour, and I’m sure his was too. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t move. All I could do was look into his perfect eyes and try to explain everything through my own. Eventually he began to move. His feet slowly inching closer and closer to my own. His arms wrapped around my waist and he pulled me close. Our bodies as close as they could ever be. I was still frozen, I couldn’t move. I didn’t have anything in me to move. I was so overwhelmed by seeing him again that I was unable to do or say anything, I was like a mute. Then he did it. He did what I have been waiting 9 months for him to do. He kissed me. Finally my mind took over my body and I kissed him back, wrapping my arms around his neck. The kiss became heated as our feelings for one another became real, became a live. Before all we had were words, and now we have actions.

He kept walking forward, moving us both into the house as he pushed the door shut with his foot. I then took over control, pushing him against the door. He chuckled slightly before turning around. His hands placed securely on my hips, mine around his neck. He slowly made his way from my lips to my cheek and down my neck and to my collarbone. I let out a moan as he found what he was looking for, my sweet spot. I grabbed his head and pulled him back to my lips. The kiss quickened as our desperation grew and grew. He tapped lightly on my thighs and grabbed either one with each hand. I jumped up and placed my legs around his waist, never unlocking our lips. He walked through the hallway with me on his waist, we entered the lounge room and he sat down on the sofa.  My legs on either side of his waist we broke the kiss for the first time. We were locked on each other’s eyes, smiling from ear to ear.

“Harry…” I whispered the same way he did to me.

“Hey love, I’ve missed you.” His low voice just above a whisper. He placed his forehead against mine and shut his eyes. I kissed the tip of his nose and hopped off of his lap, sitting next to him. I didn’t want to be away from him, not touching him, but I knew that if we were going to have this serious conversation, we had to be looking at each other, and not getting distracted.

“Harry, we need to talk…” I looked down at my hands as I placed them on my lap. I slowly looked back up to meet his eyes. He looked worried; like he thought what I was going to say would be the end of us, or even worse, being just friends.

“Harry, what are we going to do about us? I mean, I can’t live without you. I love you so much. I tried not to for the whole time we were working together. I tried so hard but I couldn’t fight it. And when I left and wanted space, I tried to block out my feelings. I tried dating other people. I thought that if I fell in love with someone else, more than what I am with you, then there would be no complications, that we could go back to being friends, best friends. But I realised that I don’t want to be just your friend. I want to be yours. I want you to be mine. I want the world to know that Harry Styles’ is my boyfriend and that no one will ever take him away from me.” I never took my eyes off of Harry’s as I told him what I needed to tell him. He smiled at me, I knew he was happy with what I had to say, but I wasn’t done.

“But then there is One Direction for you and school for me. I want to go to uni and have a normal job. Whilst you will be travelling the world, meeting loads of famous and non-famous people. You will be doing tours and promotions and recording sessions. Your schedule is so full, I don’t know if it has any room for me. I can’t just drop my life here and go anywhere with you. I want to make my own money, have my own career. How will we have enough time to see each other if you’re over there and I’m over here?”
