Chapter 14 --- All Grown Up

4 Years Later

September 18th, 2020

Ross's POV

Ben turned 18 a few weeks ago. It feels like only yesterday that Austin just propose to Ben and now they are getting married today. Actress Courtney Eaton and I got married a year ago. We don't have any kids yet but she is pregnant.

We are now at the building where the wedding is going to be. We didn't do it at a church for Religious reasons but we found a place that is like one. We are helping Ben get ready while my brothers help Austin. "Ross...is this really happening." Ben asks me. "Yes baby. You're getting married." He starts to tear up. Soon Riker comes in and says "It's time." I nod and I take Ben's hand. We walk out and He sees Austin. I let go and he grabs his hands. Courtney and I walk down first then the bridesmaids and groomsmen then Ben and Austin. Ben is trying to hold back his tears as best as he can. They get to the bottom of the aisle and the ring-bearer stands off to the side of the guy marrying them. They say their vows and Ben can no longer hold his tears. They place the rings on the others' finger and they kiss. Everyone claps and we all walk to the lobby. "Congrats Ben." I tell him. "Thanks Ross. You have been the best brother ever." We hug and I walk over to Austin. "Take care of my little brother." "I will." We hug and they hug the others. "See you in a week Ross." Ben says. We hug one last time before they leave.

Courtney and I are back at home and we are getting ready for bed when I get a facetime request. I look at my iPad and it is from Ben. I answer it and his face pops up. "Hey Ben!" "Hey Ross. Check out the room." He takes the iPad around the hotel room to show me. "Awesome. Austin knows how to do a honeymoon." "I also know how to pick the right guy." He appears in the shot. "yep. you picked the right guy alright. You guys are the cutest couple ever." They both say thank you. "Well I need to go to sleep. I have a crazy day tomorrow. Love you both." I say. "We love you too. Night." Ben says. "Night." I end the facetime and we go to sleep.

I wake up the next morning and Courtney is already up. I get up and take a shower. After I get done, I walk into the living room and Courtney is asleep on the couch. I grab a blanket and lightly put it over her. I kiss her forehead and head out for the band house.

I arrive at the band house and I walk in. "Hey Ross." Rydel says. "Hey sis." "Do we have a concert tonight?" "Yea. Help me get the boys up. We got to hit San Fransisco by 2 o' clock." "Okay." I walk into Riker's room and slap him. "Oww." He groans. "Get up." I say. "okay. okay." he says. I walk out and the others are just getting up.

2pm in San Fransisco

We are getting ready for our concert when I get a call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ross."

"Hey Ben. what's up"

"On a date with Austin."

"Shouldn't you be with him instead of calling me."

"He's in the bathroom so I thought I call you."

"Okay. We're getting ready for a concert."

"Oh. Sorry. I'll let you go then."

"Call me later K. I miss you."

"I will. I miss you too. Love you."

"Love you too, Tell Austin I said hello."

"I will. bye."

He hangs up and I walk back to the others

(I am going to skip ahead to the next week)

One Week Later

We are at the band house for a meeting that came out of the blue. "So Rocky and I were thinking that since we are getting older that we are going to have our own lives to deal with...so I think we should have a farewell tour." Riker says. My heart drops. "Wh..What? You want to end R5?" I ask shocked. "Ross, We're getting older and we don't think we can keep R5 together." Suddenly, someone says "You got to be kidding me." We turn around and see Ben and Austin. "I come back to tell you guys something important but the first thing I hear is R5 breaking up." "I'm sorry Ben but we are in our 20's and I just don't think it we can keep going. Let's take a vote. All in favor of ending R5 with a farewell tour put your hand in the middle of the circle." Riker says. Rocky and Riker puts their hands in the middle. Ryland, Ratliff and Rydel hesitate but also put their hands in the middle. "You don't need my vote since it is already a majority vote." I say. "Then it's settled. One more tour and then we are done."
