Chapter 15

Ben's POV

I wake up still wrapped in Ross's arms. I pry myself out of his arms and walk into our old bathroom. I still cannot believe that I moved out from this house. I take a shower then I put on the same clothes I had on yesterday. I walk out of the bathroom and when my phone suddenly lights up. I look at it and I am getting a call. I answer it and say "Hello?" "Hey Ben...It's Alex." I just stay quiet. I walk out of our room and run down to the living room. "Why the hell are you calling me!?!?" "I'm just warning you about your brother Ross. He is trying to sabotage your relationship with Austin." I am not convinced. "Why would he do that? He actually cares about me unlike you." "Listen, I know I hurt you and you don't want to believe a word I said but I know where you can find proof. Go up to Ross's actual room and look in the very back side of his closet." "Hold on." Okay now I am sorta scared. I walk up to Ross's room and open the door. I walk to the closet and look inside. I dig my way through the back and I see it. "I found it...Its a poster with a plan on it. None of it has been crossed out yet." "That's good. Take everything related to that and bring to my house. I am going to destroy it." "Okay...but then you have to answer some questions of mine." "Deal. Just hurry." "I will. Bye." I hang up and grab the stuff. I fix his closet and shut the door. I run downstairs and run out the front door with everything in my hands. I start walking toward Alex's house.

I arrive a Alex's front door and I knock on it. He opens the door and he says "Wow, your fast." "Here take this stuff." I command. I walk in and sit on his couch. "You okay. You're shivering like crazy." "Well I am sorta jet lagged so I forgot that it is like 4:30 in the morning here plus it is unusually cold for California." He just laughs. "So...why are you helping me?" "Well...It's because after you broke up with me...I haven't had a girlfriend or boyfriend since. After I found out what Ross was trying to do your relationship, I just had to help you." I sit there. Even though he hurt me, I should have never done what I did to him. It hurts just thinking about it. I get up from the couch and hug him. "I'm so sorry. I should have never done that to you. I should have just gotten over it." I cry into his chest. "Ben...It's okay." "Stop saying that. What I did was not okay." "What am I supposed to say? Yea you were wrong for doing that. That just sounds mean. I--" I cut him off by saying "Your right, I'm sorry. I just...I really don't know what to do anymore. I got you back in my life, Ross is planning to ruin my marriage, Courtney is giving me her child because we cannot get one. I just have to much stress on me right now. " "You want me to take you back to Austin?" "please." "Let me get my keys and I will take you back to the hotel." I nod and we get into his car.
