Esula POV-----
It's fine. Just fine. I should have expected it. But it's just not fair! Deanl is to blame! Now I have to get an education for myself and earn Celest and I some money. We couldn't just keep relying on Arazu and Steacho anyways. Okay, maybe I am a bit upset, okay, maybe a lot, but I can't do anything but hope. Hope for what? It's not like they would let an extra student in. Celest's still crying, but I don't even know why. Arazu left us alone and my face is in my pillow. I'll find another school after I attend Celest's welcome ceremony...
I decide to head down to eat ,so I slowly walk down the stairs. Ding! Ding! Isn't that the magic mail thing? Oh well. Arazu will get it. I carry on and set the table for Celest and Steacho.
Time Skip----- Opening ceremony day-----
I finally persuaded Celest to go to SKA. And just in time because the opening ceremony is today. It's been two days since I found out I didn't make it. I've had plenty of time to figure out what I was going to do. I'm searching for a new school right after the ceremony.
"Are you ready?" Arazu called.
I call Celest and answer, "Yeah!"
"We don't want to be late! Hurry up!" Arazu warned.
I follow Celest down the stairs and we rush out the door. We call a taxi and arrive at the academy. Arazu leads us back to the giant room. Oh yeah, I forgot they go to this school. I'm so forgetful... I say bye to Celest and follow Arazu and Steacho to the visitor side. Celest joins the other students who made it in. There were only four at the moment. Arazu, Steacho, and I find seats at the front and wait for the welcoming ceremony to begin. About fifteen minutes later, there were fourteen new students lined up. I guess one couldn't make it.
The lights suddenly dim and Principal Hastib appears in the middle again. "Good morning new students! Congratulations to all of you!" Principal Hastib began. Everyone clapped, but there wern't many people here; only fifteen families were here. "I will tell you everything that goes on around here after I welcome each new student and present their uniform." If we go alphabetical order according to last name as usual, Celest should be near the front. then I'll leave to search for a school. Sorry Celest I can't stay for the whole thing. "Kayla Avok. Came in fourth for the SKA entrance exam. Welcome to the school," Principal Hastib began. Dr. Pricilla followed, with the uniforms. "Stive Dio. Tenth. Welcome to SKA," Principal Hastib began to speed up. "Neogi Guddnusyer. Fifth," she continued.
"Hermial Jackler. Twelfth." Next is Celest. "Celest Kumo. Fourteenth." Wait, fourteen? She came in last- "Esula Kumo. Fifteenth. Welcome." W-what? I looked at Arazu. She just winked and pushed me up. Ugh! I need some more explaining after this! I'm so confused! Celest doesn't look like it though. Were they keeping something from me? I hurry down the stairs and accept the uniform. Dr. Pricilla looks at me in amusement. I look down and thank her. I turn around and stand by Celest.
"You're lucky we're in the middle right now," I mumble harshly to Celest. She just smiles. The rest of the ceremony was blank to me. When I sat down, I forgot to question Celest. All I caught from the introduction to the school was: "You will be taking classes with other students with similar powers. They're mostly nice people."
I blindly followed Arazu, Steacho, and Celest out of the door. I was silent through the ride home. Then when we got home, I completely popped. I yelled at Arazu and Steacho and terrified Celest. She ran behind Arazu and I calmed down. A bit. "Why! Why, why, why! Why do you always keep things away from me? Celest! Why did you join them! You know how horrible you felt when they kept a secret from you! I understand that you were required to, but that doesn't mean you keep doing it to me!" I broke down and panted. "G-gomene..," I gave up. "I'm glad I don't have to search for another school. Sorry for scaring you, Celest," I apologized. I pretended as if nothing happened, "So! I wasn't listening to the principal when she was talking. Can you tell me what I need for school?" Arazu sighed and wrote everything down. I looked at it. Paper, Folders, Binders... normal school supplies. I guess they will provide all the magic training supplies. "I'll go buy everything tomorrow... I need to do something," I said.
"Like take a nap? Nope. You need to shop with Celest now. You really weren't listening... School starts tomorrow," Arazu said. What? School's tomorrow? I just accepted the shock and now there's more? I think I fainted. Because I'm seeing swirls in my eyes. My head hurts. I'm sleepy. Someone's calling me... Oh well.. I think I'll take a nap...
