When we finally got to the hotel about about 3 hours later. Yes 3 hours because every few minutes the boys needed to stop at a store and pee. Me and Colby decided to go to the front desk while the boys got bags out of my Jeep. Colby had to take my moms credit card to pay for the rooms because I wasn't old enough, but he was 18.
"Hello, and welcome to the Avila Hotel. How may I help you?" A tall man dressed in all green said at the front counter.
The hotels theme seems to be green. There are staircases, couches, doors, even big green buttons on the elevator. It almost seems rather depressing then a good vibe kind ok thing like most hotels do.
"Hi I'm Colby I'd like to check into my suite room 117, is it still available? Colby Asked. I was trying not to laugh at how professional he was acting, in this situation.
Somehow the people at the front desk gave our room to other people. That kind of messed up the whole saving money on buying one room thing. Also pissed me off, making me very vulnerable.
"Alright, can we get a suite with one bed? Also one other small room with one bed?" Colby asked, this time in a very frustrated way.
Once we got to our rooms the boys insisted that we change and head out to Avila beach right away without even giving me a break after driving almost 6 hours. I was just glad that me and Luke got a suite all to ourselves with free wifi. The only thing wrong so far was well of course the problem with the rooms, but also Luke. He was acting super weird like something was up, I just didn't know exactly what that was.
"Luke I have noticed something." I said.
"What?" Luke asked almost annoyed.
"Are you ok? You don't seem very happy."
"Yes Rayna I'm fine, just a bit shook up is all."
"No I can tell there is something going on. I've known you for years and I can tell something's up. So are you just gonna tell me? Or do I have to drive you insane?" I said getting a little upset.
"Rayna it's seriously nothing, ok if I wanted too, I'd tell you." He snarled.
"No it's not like that actually. You don't really have a choice." I snapped back at him.
"Ok well fine I-i." He kept stuttering.
"You what Luke?" It's almost like he done something and doesn't want me to know. "Whatever stupid thing you did I'll forgive you eventually." I joked trying to lighten the mood.
"My mom. Rayna I'm scared. Her heart doesn't work properly, what if she doesn't get better? If she doesn't come home? Where am I supposed to go, and Sara?"
"Woah, Luke it's going to be ok. She's in good hands, the doctors are doing everything they can. It's just a waiting game, I know Maria is strong and she can pull through." I reassured Luke.
"But what if she doesn't?"
"Listen Luke, see if you are negative and believe all the bad things it's not going to help. You need to focus on the good and positive things that can happen. Not all good things happen in a matter of seconds. It takes time, everything takes time." I told him.
He hugged me not just a few seconds but a long I-Love-You-I'm-Scared, kind of hug. Then pulling away, to go get dressed.

The Avila Beach was gorgeous. There were still a few hours hours until the sun set, but I heard it's just like some kind of pretty painting when it happens.
"Colby pump up the rubber dingy." I laughed. I had to bring that rubber dingy just for the fun of it. The ocean is so calm and beautiful it's the perfect place to paddle for hours.
"Ok! I'm going out after you and Luke." He said excitedly.
Josh, Trevor and Luke were all tanning. We've only been here for about ten minutes. I kinda figured they'd all want to go swimming or have sand castle competitions, like all weird teenage boys do when they go to the beach. I guess they wanted to take this calm quite beach to advantage and relax. I ran over to Luke and sat down on his stomach. I scared him so bad he jumped up screaming like a little girl.
"Geez Rayna. What do you want I'm trying to tan." He practically yelled.
"Dude chill out, I wanted to see if you wanted to go out in the ocean with me?"
"Yeah I guess."
"Great!" I smiled.
"Umm Rayna you have to get off me now though." He said laughing at me.
"Oh yeah, uh sorry I kind of forgot." I said jumping off him clearly embarrassed.
He took my hand and dragged me down to the shoreline where Colby had the rubber dingy ready for us. He handed each of us a paddle, and we paddled pretty quickly out into the ocean, the warm wind made my hair blow into my face. Luke tucked it behind my ear for me, it was pretty cute.
"Rayna. I need to ask you something, and I know that we are finally happy with each other it's just I heard something and I don't know if it's true. It's been really bugging me so I'm just going to go out and say it... Did you kiss Josh?" He asked nervously.
Omg not this again. Josh is such a jerk. He's a lier. I can't believe he told Luke this, just like he said he would in the ice cream store.
"No." I sighed rolling my eyes.
"Are you being honest with me?"
"Yes I wouldn't lie to you Luke. It's all bullshit." I started to get a little upset at this.
"Well that's what Josh told me today. So I don't think your telling the truth." He said starting to also get pissed off.
"Are fucking kidding me? No I did not kiss Josh. The only time that ever happened is when he took me out, he kissed me! Believe what you want!" I yelled.
"No it's not just like that. One of you is lying and I'm going to find out right now, who that someone is. Now tell me did you or did you not kiss Josh while we were dating?" He questioned, as he paddled further out into the ocean.
"Luke stop. Don't go out that far, I'm scared!" I hated any sea creatures and I was terribly scared that I may see one if we go in water any deeper.
"Don't you dare change the subject while I'm talking!" He said almost grinding his teeth at me.
"Luke c'mon this is childish, grow up!"
"WHAT? Your calling me childish! I'm not the one that kissed her boyfriends best friend and won't own up to it!"
"Luke, JUST GIVE IT UP!" I yelled at him, at this point I was furious.
"Josh is a lier. At the ice cream store he told me that I kissed him and that he was going to tell everyone. He's twisting everything around, he's jealous of our relationship Luke and your just to blind to see it!" Now I was so angry that I could feel tears coming on.
"If that's true then-" I cut him off.
"WE ARE DONE OK. PERIOD! THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER!"
"You little brat! Don't you cut me off while I'm speaking!" I can't believe the words that just came out of his mouth.
"You went out for ice cream together just you and him! Am I correct?" He seemed a little more calm.
"No. I went for icecream while you were at work, he's a stalker. He just showed up and said all this shit about me kissing him and liking him." This was it the tears flowed out and streamed down my face.
"YOU BETTER EXPLAIN AND MAKE IT GOOD!" He demanded. He was making me so scared I just wanted to go home.
Authors note: This is the chapter I had to write all over again. The first time it was written was much better, but of course it got deleted causing me to start over. Sorry if it's a little choppy, and quick I tried my best. The next chapter is my favorited chapter yet! So get ready! Btw how did you love this cliche Rayna and Luke drama? Lol I hope this chapter wasn't completely terrible!
