Chapter 2: Shes my light!

The small flashes of lightning is the only thing lighting the halls of the gothic style castle. The only living beings inside one a powerful wizard, the other a fragile and broken blond. He hair is in a matted mess as she sits alone in large warm bed. Her eyes search the room for any sign of life. When she can't find anything inside her captive room she makes her way towards the heavy iron door. She struggles and grunts and pulls on the door, only to have a man with Snow White hair mixed with and outline of hair almost as dark as the room around him. "Hello again miss Lucy. I'm sorry I had to pull you away like that but I needed a reason for him to for you." His voice is rough but kind, almost as if he was feeling regret for his actions. Lucy however backs away still nervous and afraid. "W-where am I and who is him?" She asks almost panicking, when she reaches for her keys only one remains, the dog constellations key or plue for short. "Well again miss Lucy I do apologize for having to take away your key, I left the one silver key just in case you get lonely while we wait." He takes a deep breath as his eyes darken, their normal black coloring turning red. "And the person I'm waiting for is... Natsu Dragneel." And with that he takes his leave and walking out, pulling the heavy door shut with a loud bang. He locks the door leaving the girl all alone once again. She curls up into her knees as her thoughts travel to the boy that not only saved her and brought her to fairy tail but also stole her heart.

Natsu and Happy take to the sky, following the scent of their lost friend. As they travel Natsu's mind is everywhere but on the path ahead. He thinks of his masters words before looking up at his tiny friend. "Hey happy do you think I love Lucy?" Natsu blushes at his words and looks ahead. Happy on the other hand was dying of laughter, much to Natsu's dismay. "Oh come on Natsu your the only one who hasn't realized it." He laughs more. Natsu at this point was fully flushed red, steam seeming to eminate from his face. "J-just hurry up and get us to Lucy." He growls

As Natsu and Happy make contact with the castle Natsus body starts to change slowly but surely. Happy panics and runs around frantically. "OH NO NATSUS DYING AND LUCY IS ALL ALONE INSIDE!! WHATS GOING ON?!" Natsu sighs and shakes off the black flames eating at his skin. "Happy I'm fine so calm down. We need to hurry and find Lucy... This place is rejecting me." He starts his decent into the castle with happy in tow. Natsu growls as he smells the two people inside, one being Lucy caused him to take of fast leaving a trail of angry flames in his wake. "Lucy!!!" He yells as he runs.

Lucy stands straight up now holding her little plue. "Natsu?!" She rushes to the door and pulls hard. As Natsu reaches the door her tries to open it but quickly realizes it's locked. He keeps desperately pulling against the door as a cold dark laugh makes its way through the halls of the castle. The tall boy with black and white hair makes his presence known to Natsu by simply whispering into his ear. "Oh my Natsu you finally came for me didn't you." His smirk grows and wraps his arms around Natsu, only to be burnt in response. "Oh Natsu don't be so rude, I worked really hard to get you to come here." He whines but smiles. Natsu on the other hand feels the rage building inside him as his flames seem to be overtaken and attacks him. The flames turn black and take life as the travel to the boys side. Natsu growls as he stands, the burns on his arms stinging as the air touches the open wounds. "Damn it who are you?!" He yells as tries to punch the mysterious youth. "Well Natsu I am... Let's just say your opposite. You can call me Kiyoshi or really whatever you want." He smiles and catches Natsu's hand, his skin seemed to just evaporate into the air as his grasp tightened. "I didn't bring you here to fight when it'll only end in both of us dying." Kiyoshis voicd becomes cold and dark as he lets him go. "I just need to stay by your side Natsu, if not I will fade from this world, and I will not leave alone if you don't believe me." He motions for the room Lucy is being held in.

Natsu growls and stands in front of the door protectively. "I'll kill you if you touch her!" Kiyoshi's only response is a sigh, he rams his fist into his chest; and aiming for his heart. The force being enough to stop a normal mans heart only causes him to drop to his knees. Natsu's eyes widen as his heart seems to stop for a moment. "What's g-going on?" The self acclaimed opposite responds with "we're are one in the same Natsu... That girls the key to it all you knew. She's your light that's destroying the darkness in your heart... It's killing me." Natsu says thinking outloud. "She's my... Light?" He smiles softly at the thought only to stand and glares at Kiyoshi. "So what your saying is I have a choice to make and that's between you two." Kiyoshi applies with a slow nod. Natsu's smirk grew as his mouth opens to let his thoughts out. "Then I pick Lucy! I pick my light!"

Lucy hears the entire conversation, blushing from Natsu's words she finally pipes up and says. "Natsu... Let's go home please." Tears of happiness and sadness trail down her cheeks.
