Today is Con's 23rd birthday and I have the perfect gift for him.

"I'm home!" Connor called from downstairs.

I walked downstairs and into the living room.

"Hiiii, babe," I said walking towards him; pecking his lips.
"How was your day, handsome?"

"Good, how was yours?" He asked, kissing my cheek.
"Good"

"Con, since it's your birthday I have a gift for you," I said to Connor who was sitting in the couch.
"Stay right there"

"Troye you shouldn't have" Connor spoke

I picked up his gift and brought it to the living room.

I carried the white kitten towards Connor.

Once his eyes landed on the cat he covered his mouth with his hands.

"Troye!" He squealed.

"Happy birthday, kitten" I smiled, placing the cat in his lap.

He stared at the kitten for a couple seconds before starting to pet it.

"What's it's name?" He asked
"I don't know, you have to name it," I replied "it's a girl by the way"

"Is it mine?," he asked "or well.. Ours?"

I nodded "it's gonna live here with the both of us" I smiled.

As we finished up dinner I asked Connor again. "So what's her name?" I smiled down at the kitten

"Josephine" he smiled.

"Awe, that's cute" I said pecking his lips.

"Thank you, Tro, for the gift. I love her, a lot" he said kissing my cheek.

"You can't love her more than you love me"

He chuckled and said
"I love you both equally" picking up the kitten and placing her in his lap.
