birthday surprise

This year Connor will be spending his birthday in Australia with the Mellets, this morning Connor woke up to a beautiful Australian sleeping beside him and a delicious breakfast made by Sage, Tyde, and Laurelle.

As the American sat down to eat his birthday breakfast, Troye began to talk about the special day he has planned for the two of them- as his boyfriend stuffed his face with food.

The two began their special day downtown, Troye knew that Connor loved the shops. Especially the vintage stores and the small quiet cafes. The streets weren't busy today, which meant they didn't have to bother pushing through the crowds of tourists like they normally would.

After the two wondered the town, got lunch, and shopped a little- they headed back home to watch a movie and cuddle.

"I have one more thing planned for us, Connie" Troye smiled as he let his fingers get tangled in his boyfriends hair.

"and what would that be?" Connor said looking up at his lover.

The two stared at one another silently, admiring each other. Connor leaned up and kissed Troye softly on his lips.

"It's a surprise" troye said, breaking the silence.

"Con, you ready to go?" Troye called out.

"Yup, let me just grab my phone"

Connor came running down the stairs, the two saying goodbye to the rest of the family that were staying home, Tyde, Sage and Shaun were the only ones coming along. Laurelle wanted to stay home and 'catch up on her cleaning' which made no sense to them but they didn't argue.

They all piled into the car and drive off to the secret destination. Connor held onto Troye's hand as they sat in the backseat with Sage.

They finally arrive to their destination, all five of them got outta the car and walked into the building.

Finally, the time has come. The woman walked into the room with a small koala in hand, and their faces lit up.

After the woman went over the rules about what to do and not do when holding a koala- she asked,
"Who wants to hold him first?"

"Birthday boy?" Shaun laughed looking over at Connor who's jaw was down to the floor and eyes widened.

Connor nodded and walked up towards the woman and the koala.

"Hello" Connor said to the koala in a baby voice.

The woman placed the animal in the American's hands carefully.
Connors heart melted as the small animal rested in his arms.

Troye pulled out his phone and swiped to the camera feature.

"Connah" troye spoke

"Yea" Connor smiled, looking down at the koala then up at troye- smiling.

Troye took loads of photos on his and Connors phones. After everyone got to hold the koala, they all decided it was time to head home. Getting fast food on the way home.
The birthday boy fell asleep on Troye's shoulder on the drive home.

Connor was exhausted from the long day he just had with some amazing people.

"Thank you for an amazing birthday, Tro" Connor yawned as he kicked off his jeans under the covers.

"No problem, love. I'm glad you have fun" Troye giggled. Climbing into bed beside him.

Connor threw off his shirt and pulled the covers over him, letting troye cuddle up to his chest.

"Best birthday ever" Connor sighed, closing his eyes.
