Troye and his family were moving back to Australia, leaving the small town of La Crescent Minnesota behind; along with all the friends they have made there. Troye didn't want to have to leave his friends behind. Leaving his best friend, Connor, behind was gonna be the hardest thing for Troye.

As troye began to pack up his room, he came across a pile of polaroids hidden underneath magazines and books.

Photos of him, Zoe, Tyler, and Connor. When they went on walks late at night, their trips to the lake, or just times when they would fool around until late at night, being typical teenagers. Photos of when the four best friends would have sleepovers, when they would stay up late watching movies and eating endless amounts of junk food and drink sodas of many kinds.

Tears began to form in the teenager's eyes and he looked through the photos, he hated the fact that he would leave four amazing people, who he loved dearly, behind.

"Troye, your friend is at the door for you" his mother called out from downstairs.

Troye placed the photos down onto his bed and made his way downstairs and towards the front door. There stood Connor on the other side of the wooden entrance, with a gift bag in his hand and a card in the other.

Troye rushed towards the American and threw his arms over Connor's shoulders, his arms placed around Connor's neck. Troye hugged his best friend tight, afraid that if he let go that he would lose Connor for good.

"Hey, Troye boy" Connor chuckled.

"Hi, Con" troye replied, hot tears streaming down his pale cheeks.

Connor helped Troye put some of his belongings into the cardboard boxes that were scattered around the room. The two boys started talking about the fun memories they've had together while Troye lived in Minnesota, Troye began to get emotional about all the memories and how much he was going to miss his best friend. Connor noticed his upset friend and placed the box, he had in his arms, down onto the ground and opened his arms.

Connor said, "Come here"

Troye let out a shaky sigh and walked towards Connor, letting Connor pull him into his warm embrace.

"It's gonna be okay, troye boy" Connor spoke softly as he cradled the Australian.

"I-I know," Troye stuttered "I'm just going to m-miss you"

"I'm going to miss you too," Connor hugged his best friend tight.

"but we'll meet again, I promise"
