Summary:
Troye wakes up in the middle of the night, gets scared of the storm outside; and Connor is there to comfort him.

-

Thunder roared outside of the bedroom window. Troye jerked up from his and Connors shared bed, the sound of thunder causing him to panic.

Since he was a kid, Troye was always afraid of storms, especially thunder storms. Troye couldn't help but cry, he turned to see his boyfriend sleeping peacefully; he didn't wanna wake him up so he just tried to go back to sleep.

As he tried to close his eyes and go back to sleep- a roar of thunder was heard from outside, Troye flinched at how loud the storm had gotten and tears began to fall once again.

Connors eyes fluttered open as he heard the sound of crying, Troye had his back to Connor but Connor knew it was his boyfriend who was crying.

"Tro?" Connor spoke quietly.

All of a sudden the crying stopped, Troye trying to hold back the tears that we're ready to fall.

"I-I'm okay, C-Connah. Go back to s-sleep" troye sniffled.

Connor lightly grabbed Troyes shoulder and turned him around- so they were face to face.

"Babe, it's okay. I get it- you're afraid of the storm, there's nothing wrong with that" Connor said softly, running his fingers through his boyfriend's dark brown locks.

Troye couldn't hold back the tears any longer. Connor sighed and pulled Troye to his chest.

"Shhh, baby, I'm right here" Connor kissed his forehead.

Troye tugged lightly at the duvet, Connor noticed and pulled the duvet over Troyes shoulder. The younger boy let his head rest lightly on the older boy's bare chest, his legs getting tangled in Connors.

"Close your eyes and get some sleep, baby. No ones gonna hurt you when you're with me," Connor mumbled into troyes hair- placing a light kiss on the top of his head "I'll be right here when you wake up"

And with that, troye fell asleep with Connors arms wrapped securely around him.
