Emma wasn't sure when she actually feel asleep, but she knew she did because she awoke to the guards, maids, and her parents running all around the palace. At first she didn't know why, but then it came rushing back to her. Someone broke into the treasury, Blake who isn't who he claimed to be is missing, and her heart was broken. Snow came running into her daughter's room with a worried look on her face.
"Emma do you know where Blake is?" Snow asked.
"He is gone. He broke into the treasury because he wanted money, and escaped. I don't know where he is and I don't want to." Emma was at the brink of tears.
"Honey just have hope he is okay." Snow said sitting down and hugging her daughter.
"I don't care if he is or not. I fell in love with him, but he left. Please go. I-I want to be alone."
Snow gave Emma a kiss on the head and left. Unknowingly, Snow told August to comfort Emma. She somehow found out that she befriended him, and Snow thought it would help her.
August knocked on her door.
"Hey Emma? Can I come in?" He asked.
"I guess." Emma said not looking at him.
"What's wrong?"
"Blake left and took my heart with him."
"I promise you, you will get over him."
"It's easier said then done."
Emma's spirit was crushed. Nothing anybody said could help her. Hook on the other hand, was taking things... differently. He was drowning himself with rum. His judgement was cloudy, and all he wanted was his Emma back. He wanted to tell her how sorry he was, and that he couldn't live without her. Sure they weren't together, but he still wanted her.
A month went by and it was time for Emma's wedding. This brought many memories that she didn't want back. Rumplestiltskin couldn't help her because she couldn't forget a man that doesn't exist. Emma was pacing back and forth in her room the night before the wedding. 'I can't marry him. I can't pretend to have happiness if I once did already. I have to go.' She thought in her head. It was settled, Emma would leave the castle and go somewhere else, even if it meant not being a princess anymore. She gathered up some jewels and the money she had in her room and grabbed a sack full of food to take with her on her journey. She soon went to the docks and made a row boat appear with her magic.
"I'm sorry mom and dad, but I can't do it." She said out loud as she rowed herself to the middle of the ocean. Emma didn't care where she ended up, whether it was dead or not, she just wanted to leave.
Hook's month didn't go so well either. He thought if he took random wenches back to his ship, that that would make the thoughts of Emma go away, but alas they didn't. Even though he despised the place, Hook had a plan to go to Neverland. He knew that he would die without her, and he didn't want to. One night while Hook was in his cabin, Smee saw something in the distance in the water. It looked like a girl. He ran down to Hook's cabin to tell him about his discovery.
"Capt'n there seems to be a girl out in the distance." Smee said.
"And you are telling me this why?" Hook questioned.
"Sir, she looks like a princess due to her appearance. We can get her and give her back for ransom."
Hook opened his door and went above deck to look at this opposed princess. It was dark, so he didn't know that the girl's "dress" was a blue cloak. "Pull her up, and lets get to Neverland." Was all he said before going back to his cabin.
The next morning Emma awoke in a bed. Not the place she fell asleep. She looked around and realized she was on a ship. Just as she was adjusting to her surroundings, a man with a bright red hat came into her room.
"Ah good morning miss! Is there anything I can get you?" He asked.
"Uh yea. Maybe some answers. First off, where am I?" Emma asked.
"You are on the Jolly Roger."
"Okay, who are you?"
"William Smee, but you can call me Smee. Almost everyone does."
"So Smee, you are on a ship by yourself?"
"Oh no, the captain is here if you wanted to see him." He said.
"Yes." Emma said. Now maybe she could get some more answers.
Smee left and Emma looked out the windows. It was cloudy outside and there were trees everywhere. As she was looking outside, the door opened but she pretended not to notice, until he said a something that she hadn't told anyone yet.
"Emma?" He said and her eyes widened. She knew who it was.
Still turned around facing the windows she said, "Blake?"
"Sorry love, its not Blake. My name is Killian Jones, but a nickname of mine is Hook."
Emma turned herself around, and it was indeed the man who posed as Blake Jones for a month.
"How did you find me?" Emma yelled.
"You found me actually. Mr. Smee found you in the water, and took you in." Hook said.
"Well return me. I'd rather be dead than with the man who broke my heart."
What she said brought pain to his heart. After all this time thinking she was fine, he learned she was in pain.
"Sorry, you can't go home yet. We are in Neverland."
'Neverland? How the hell did I sleep through going through a portal to Neverland?' Emma thought to herself.
Hook turned to leave, but Emma stopped him. "Why are we here?"
"Because, I couldn't live without you and I knew that I would die." He confessed.
Emma was starstruck. She stood up and followed Hook to the top deck.
"Are we going onto the island or not? No matter what, Pan knows you are here." Emma said.
"We will be going onto the island, but how do you know so much about Peter Pan?" Hook asked.
"I have friends who were on this island a lot. They were close to him so they could escape. They told me a lot about him."
"Well Swan, I assume you know that he may look like a boy, but he is a bloody demon."
"Thanks for the tip." Emma said sarcastically before walking away. "And Hook, don't call me that."
Although he was happy he had her back, she wasn't happy. He knew she was pissed at him, but hopefully he would get to show her his strength while being on the accursed island.
