Forever Doesn't Last Forever

Chapter 8

"There has to be something here!" Emma yelled frantically searching his cabin.

"There isn't love. We can't leave Neverland without Pan's help." He replied.

"Well the only way to leave this island is if I stay and you go." She sighed.

Hook walked over to her and put his hand and hook on her arms. "There is no way we are leaving without you. Either we all go back together and not at all."

After he said that, Smee came barging into the room, not even bothering to knock. "Capt'n someone is here to see you."

"Who the bloody hell could be here?" Hook asked angrily.

"Pan."

Emma's eyes widened. Pan was here to take her or kill them all, or possibly both. "Stay here Swan." Hook said and started climbing up the steps.

"No. I am not letting you get hurt." Emma said. It was true, but if Pan was going to kill them if she didn't go with him, she would do go with him.

They all walked above deck to see Pan standing in the middle of the ship by himself, and all of the crew members with their swords drawn. Hook kept Emma behind him. If Pan would try to attack, it would hit him first and Emma would survive.

"Hello Killian." Pan said.

"What do you want?" Hook asked harshly.

"You know what I want. Give me Emma."

"I thought you only took boys." Smee said.

"Well this girl is special. Now hand her over."

Emma was getting nervous. She wasn't sure if Hook would give her up or not. The things he said could be true, but also they couldn't.

"You aren't getting her." Hook said.

"Well you know the deal. Give her over and I will let you escape with your lives. If not you all can die." Pan said.

"No. We are all leaving."

"Fine have it your way." Pan brought his hand up and started to choke Emma.

All the crew members except for Hook rushed at Pan and became frozen. "Killian." Emma said in a whisper fighting to let the air in.

Hook stood in shock. What could he do? All he knew was that he had to save her. Not knowing what to do, he threw his sword at the arm that was holding the grip on Emma, and it cut him. The pain caused Pan to release his hand that was choking her and she fell to the ground coughing at all of the air that rushed into her lungs. Killian ran to her side and gently put her on the ground before she fell.

"Are you okay?" Killian asked frantically.

"I'm fine. I just want to get out of here." Emma said before getting into another coughing fit.

"Nice try pirate, but either she stays and you leave, or nobody leaves." Pan said.

"Get the hell off my ship." Hook said with a death glare. Pan smiled and disappeared. As he did so, everyone unfroze.

"What the hell Hook? You know we can't leave unless he tells us we can." Emma yelled.

"Well I remembered something while he was doing that to you." Hook said calmly back.

"Well I guess I know how to get you to remember something now. Get the life squeezed out of me." Emma said sarcastically.

Hook rolled his eyes and went to his cabin, only to return a few seconds later. "Alright men, let's prepare for bumpy seas ahead!"

Everyone scrambled around hoisting the sails and then grabbing onto something heavy. Hook went to the wheel and Emma followed behind him.

"What are you doing?" Emma asked.

"Getting off of this bloody island." Hook replied.

"How do you manage to do that?"

"With this." Hook said and held up a small bean. He threw it into the water and they made their way over to the giant water whirlpool. "You might want to hold onto something unless you want to end up somewhere other than the Enchanted Forest."

Emma was still in shock over the portal that that small bean had created, that she didn't hear Hook. Her amazement was wiped away when she felt something pull her. Hook had taken his hook and pulled Emma into his arms and towered over her as he hugged her to protect her. The Jolly Roger sailed over to the portal and went in. Emma held onto Hook for dear life, and this brought a smile onto his face.

When the ship emerged from the water, Emma still didn't let go. She didn't know why she still held on, but it just seemed right. She felt protected.

"Uh Swan?" Hook finally said with the obvious fact that he was smiling.

"Hmm?" Emma said.

"We are back in the Enchanted Forest love."

"I know. I don't want to let go."

Killian smiled more, if that was even possible. "Let's go to my cabin."

Emma let go and followed him below deck. When they got down there, Hook started looking for something.

"What are you looking for?" Emma asked.

"That bracelet I gave you." Hook said.

"Oh, I thought you put it in your pocket."

Hook checked all of his pockets in his leather jacket. When he turned up empty handed, he threw a something across the room. "It must be in Neverland."

"Hey, it's okay. Why do you want it so bad?" Emma asked.

"Because it reminds me of you."

"Well you have me now."

Killian kissed Emma and picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. "You know, we aren't even going out." He said with a smirk.

"No I suppose not." Emma replied with her own smirk.

"Well, would you want to go out with me?"

"What do you think."

They kissed and a bell rang. It was his code for they were docked. They went above deck and nobody was there.

"Looks like we are alone." Hook said with another irresistible smirk.

"Where did they go?" Emma asked.

"Not sure, but we are alone."

"So you've said before."

"Come on let's go back down below deck."

"But I like the view."

"Well maybe you will like the view down there as well." He said with lust in his eyes.

Emma blushed and took his hand and followed him back to his cabin.
