When I was young,
I do everything for fun
I play, I sing and I run,
That was my life when I was a kid.
There were no rules,
No one who tells me, what to do and what not to do.
Or maybe, I was just a hard headed fool
That never listens to my parents advices for me to do.
Until I met a girl,
A girl with curls
She thinks I'm her friend
That will never leave her 'till the end.
I was assuming she's just joking,
But no! I was wrong of thinking,
She said to me once, she said to twice or maybe even thrice,
That she's my friend whatever's the price!
She held my hand as we lay down the green grass,
I look at her as I remembered the pass,
How I thought life is meaningless,
But now I know maybe I'm just clueless.
I was a kid with no right direction,
But when you came I found my salvation.
So many kids out there that could have been my friend,
But God gave me a friend like you, a friend who lend.
Who lends her time to play with me,
Who lends her toys when I have nothing,
A friend who's there when I'm sad or in glee,
Your my friend a friend who is worth believing.
