~Angela's POV~

The lord seemed to be nice, along with her guards. One though was wearing a very old version of a knight in training armor, despite the fact that he seemed to be lord Aphmau's head guard.Aphmau's mouth opened to speak."I've heard bad things of your condidtion, but you seem to be moving quite well, though I might be wrong.Anyways, before we head back into the village I would like to introduce you to Dante,Laurence, and Garroth. They are the guards of this village."She spoke softly, each guard nodding in my direction as Aphmau spoke.

Glancing at the two boys who were chattering happily, one seemed to be a spirit, but I said nothing of the matter."My apologies if I forced any of you arrive home early and leave businuess unfinished."I spoke softly, staring down at the wooden dock."Don't apologize,we were already on our way home when the letter arrived."The man named Laurence replied, before the Lord held out her hand to me.

"How about we go up to my home and chat over tea?My home is right up the hill, though I'll help you up there to the best of my ability."She spoke softly,a gentle smile on her lips as the two boys then looked up at her, smiling.

Hesitantly I nodded slightly in reply, standing up straight before I then slowly stepped off of the docks, pain flowing through my body again, the pain not being as horrible as it was awhile ago.Slowly, but surely the lord and I made it up the overly long staircase,or so it seemed.I nearly face planted on to the stone stair cases a few times.

Reaching her home,I sat down with a simple sigh, while she fixed tea."What a...lovely home you have."I speak softly."Thank you,I love it here."She replies simply, sitting down at the table, across from me."Do you have children?I saw a little playground outside.
