Angela's POV

We had decided as a group to put the girl in a cell in the guard station.Once morning hit,Aphmau had began to go check on the villagers. The three guards had went off to the guard tower, saying that training would begin later, once they were sure Pheonix Drop wasn't under attack. This left me to be completely and utterly bored.Of course,I could go around and meet the villagers, but I felt like I needed to take things slow, instead of rushing to meet everyone.I sighed gently as I laid there on my bed in the house Aphmau had given me.It was small, but it would work.

Once I had settled into the village,I could ask Lord Aphmau if I could renovate the simple home.A knock on my house door startled me a bit and I stood up.Stepping over to the door,I opened it,my eyes widening at the sight before me.

There stood a female, with bright pink hair, black cat ears and a tail. She also wore a cute maid outfit. The girl was holding a cake,a bright smile on her face."Hello miss!Kawaii~Chan wanted to bring you a cake to welcome you into the village!Kawaii~Chan hopes you'll like it Miss........?"She spoke out in third person, her name seeming to Kawaii~Chan."O-Oh!I'm Angela. It's a pleasure to meet you."I replied,as I was handed the cake.It was freshly made, and seemed to be a red velvet cake. The girl then spoke up again."Kawaii~Chan heard you were Garroth~Kun's apprentice.Kawaii~Chan thinks that he's a nice person and will certianly be nice to Angela~Chan.By the way,Kawaii~Chan welcomes Angela~Chan to Pheonix Drop!"She continued, her bright smile almost blinding."Kawaii~Chan has to go back to her little maids.Ciao~!"Kawaii~Chan waved goodbye, leaving me standing there almost frozen.Blinking slowly,I shuffled back into my house.

I placed the cake on a shelf, near one of the small windows. My gaze slowly shifted over to the armor and blade laying on the table near my bed.Debating on wether or not to put it on,I sighed and slipped on the armor, looking at my reflection in the window. It fitted nicely and looked to be made to hug my curves slightly, just enough to where it didn't look and feel loose and square shaped on my body.It was made of silver and seemed to have hints of sapphire here and there.Picking up the sapphire blade that laid on the floor I glanced back at my reflection and didn't see myself.I saw a determined guard.
