~ A n g e l a ' s  POV ~

Skylar was shooting deadly glares at the lord. She looked like a pure shadow knight, which she was. Inwardly. She truly didn't know how to feel anymore, but had learned from the villagers and from myself, the differences between emotions again.
Garroth swung his sword at the chains that held me down, breaking them with swift ease. I looked at him with thankful eyes before I turned to look at Skylar.

She was filled with rage and the anger and hatred was rolling off of her in thick waves.

Her red sword was facing the Lord. He didn't look frightened, as he was smiling. "You'll be heading down now." He stated in a firm voice before at least twenty guards emerged from the darkened shadows. Two of them held chains and heavy weights.
Two others were beginning to approach Garroth and I. They were going to let Skylar sink to the bottom of the ocean, that rested beneath the hanging cliff.
And Garroth and I would be killed.

Garroth's father wouldn't have mercy on him either. He was already seen as a traitor to his father before all of this and would now just be seen as a foolish guard, rather than his son. Maybe his mother would have him spared. I wouldn't mind taken the burden of our punishment. Which was death. I was long prepared to die. Ever since I was brought to this horrid place.

Skylar was pulled and restrained, fighting back of course. They had managed to chain weights to her legs in her furry as she killed a few of the guards. Garroth had managed to keep the other guards away, the two that had originally came at us laying on the ground now.
Then I heard the sounds of yelling in all of the fury of swords clashing against swords. Skylar had been pushed by the lord himself. Her blood red sword laid on the grass, shining ever so slightly in the moonlight.
"Skylar!" I screamed as I unwillingly watched her fall from the cliff. I ran, pushing guards out of my way, leaning over the edge and frantically trying to reach for the hand she held out to me.

Then she was gone.

Underneath the surface. She wouldn't die necessarily. She would stay there, drowning forever since as far as I knew, she was immortal, having had killed her last lord. No one though, would be able to save her. By the time we would be able to get help, she would be too far underneath the surface for any normal person to save her without drowning themselves. I swallowed long and hard as I stared at the ocean. It seemed like all of the sounds I had once heard so clearly, died down in volume. The noise became background noise as I walked over to where her sword laid in the grass.

I pick up the red blade and looked at the lord. I pointed the tip of the blade at his neck. Ice surrounded the hilt of the blade. A sheet of ice grew underneath my feet, incasing the Lord's feet in ice. He wouldn't be able to move. Guards began to run up to the edge of the cliff to stop what would happen.

I simply raised a hand, twisting my wrist and froze their bodies into solid blocks. They could still breathe of course, their heads not having had been encased in ice. They would just be miserably cold and once the deed was done, I would let them go.
I spoke in a cold, dead voice. "Who informed you of the death of Zane Ro'Meave?" I asked and Lord Ro'Meave looked at me in utter shock at my question.  I would have whoever caused all of this questioned later on. Once we got out of here.

"A woman. Her name was Hannah, I was later informed of that after she came here." He said calmly. Liza.

She was near MY daughter as we spoke. She knew by telling the Lord of O'Khasis they would come after me. She wanted me to die. My eyes narrowed and the ice encasing his feet cracked. I could feel Garroth's eyes burning holes into my body as I gripped his shoulder.

But then a guard, I hadn't noticed before swung his sword, slicing my hand. In his disarray of trying to protect his lord, he had pushed his lord accidentally towards the cliff. Lord Ro'Meave screamed as he fell off of the side of the cliff. I held my cut hand and ran to Garroth, as the guard began to realize what he had done.
"The Ro'Meave brothers still live."He had said before I was unwillingly picked up bridal style and carried away.

The journey back I can't recall. We got horses and headed back.

When we arrived, people were ready to celebrate our return. Until they noticed one of their beloved guards were missing. People were solemn after that and went to their homes to mourn privately.

Before I was permitted to go home, I was informed that the others had returned and Aphmau wouldn't let me go home until my hand was bandaged properly. But all of us went in a small heard back to the house, to confront Hannah.

And oh my Irene, did things get a little out of hand.
