The Deal

Chapter 13

Ter looked up at Ms.Carr making her final preparations before setting up the meal on the table. "Need any help Ms.Carr?" he asked. "No. But thank you sweetheart," she replied. Ter smiled and looked back towards Hun. "What time did you wake up?" he wondered. "Around 8. Had to get up early to start breakfast. And it's CHRISTMAS! Why not get up early?" she replied. Ter shrugged and watched Ms.Carr place the food down on the table as the rest of the seats around the table started rapidly filling up. "Good morning everyone," said one of Hun's cousins. "Good morning," said everyone in unison. As everyone started taking food for their plates, the thought of Ter's secret started getting to him again. He got very stiff and zoned off for about 3 minutes before Hun snapped her fingers at him and said "everything okay?" He smiled and nodded then began eating the feast that was prepared for everyone.

After breakfast the traditions started. The young cousins grabbed their ice skates and ran to the older to tie them or after they got them on they wanted to be carried. By the time they were heading to the ice pond Ter was holding one little girl and a boy on his shoulder and one on his back. Hun had two little boys in her arms and the rest were walking. Mrs.carr made everyone to stop for a picture, they finally got to the pond and put them down. They skated and shuffled only to fall and start crying. Hun kept off her skates so she could run to there little rescues. By the time it got dark they got back to the house but it was two early to start opening presents and it was time to start making dinner. So they placed all the kids on the couches and floor near the fire place so they could warm up and nap, Ter sat at the kitchen table cutting up potatoes for beef stew and Hun was no where to be found.

*A few minutes later *

Hun opened the door off of the living room wrapped Christmas lights around this Beautiful pearl white grand piano. She plugged in the lights and the piano glowed. Hun started to check if the piano needed to be tuned and then began to play... (Video)

They heard her start playing and put everything down that they were doing. They all walked over to the door way and leaned into each other lovingly. The kids stay on the floor slowly drifting to sleep and Ter grabbed the guitar and strummed with her. They sat there singing that song in what felt like forever. Staring into each others eyes.

After they finished their song they took a breath, smiled at eachother, and bowed to the family. The sudden applause from the adults woke up the children who were drifting off. Ter and Hun told eachother in unison "that was amazing." They laughed and Hun pecked him on the cheek. Ter's face became a slight red color due to his embarrassment of that happening in from of Hun's whole family. After he already felt that embarrassment, he thought "Eh, what the hell" and sweeped Hun off of her feet, kissing her. Hun was in shock because of the unexpected kiss. Ter picked her up and plopped her down on the couch as he took a seat next to her. "You okay?" he asked, "I thought I was the nervous one." And he laughed.

"Yeah yeah, I'm fine" Hun giggled trying to catch her breath. "I'm out of breath from singing and the kiss..." Hun said Ter laughed at that and pushed the hair out of her face and froze, he studied her. The way the fire glossed her diamond blue angel eyes, the red rosy cheeks, the long soft blonde hair that cascaded around her heart shaped head, her thin nose set perfect to her head and last of all her thin body that had just enough curve to it to be proud of. Ter moved his hand to her waist and pulled her toward him.

Hun followed his action and moved towards him moving onto his lap looking into his eyes. With a nervous smile she put her head on his shoulder and whispered "what did you get me for Christmas?" She pulled her head up biting her lip seductively only to burst out into laughter. "Now Ter, you are the nervous one... By the way I think you'll like your gift it might not be tonight here tonight but maybe tomorrow, before we leave it should arrive." Hun smiled and pecked his cheek again and laid down on the couch with him.

During all of this the family was cooking in the kitchen and her mom caught multiple pictures. The little kids still laid on the floor slightly snoring and breathing heaven.

*3 hours later*

Hun we sleeping peacefully on Ters chest and Ter played with her hair. "I need to tell her already" Ter thought. Hun began to slowly open her eyes "how long have I been out?" She looks at the clock "two hours? Well I'll know I'll be up late tonight." Ter sat up with Hun still clinging on to him. "Let's go get food."
Hun sighed and slowly got up. She sat on the floor and grabbed Ters hand so he dragged her to the kitchen where dinner was being served. He pulled Hun to the chair next to her dad, mr.carr grabbed his daughters other hand and helped lift her onto the chair. "Still the same dead body drag game?" He chuckled to his laughing daughter. She just smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek.
"Why do I get kisses like that" Ter pouts only to tear up in pain as Hun kicked him from under the table. "Sorry" he says as he rubs his leg.

*1 1/2 hours later*

Everyone sat around the Christmas tree that had tons of gifts under it.
Hun and Ter were the mediators of the little kids to keep them in line as they passed out the gifts. The little cousins finally opened there last gifts and ran into the other room to play with all there toys.

The adults gathered closer as again Ter and Hun passed everything out. Hun and Ter opened their gifts; clothing, gift cards, apartment furniture, candles, and a envelope.

Hun looked at it mysteriously. "Mom... Is this for me?" Starring at a giant vanilla envelope.
"Yes it is for you but in time after college"

Hun tore into it slowly and on the first sheet of paper read:

Contract

The day that Hun Carr finishes college she will
Be legally obligated to take this home as her own and have bought off from her parents with only one year of mortgage left.
With this signature by Hun Carr and parents you will own all property from the pond to the highway.

Hun this house has been ours since we were babies and we wanted you to have it for your own too, we know we told you we rent it but we actually have just been paying off the mortgage for you for years to come. Merry Christmas -mom and dad

"Wait so I own this... 8 bedroom 10 bathroom house..." Hun squeals "and all I have to pay is utilities" Hun grabs the paper to her chest "wait but why now"

Huns mom smile dropped " we have too"
"But why" Hun got up worried.
"We don't know how long everyone will be coming here anymore"
"What do you mean!!"
