The Deal

Chapter 5

They sat silent for 15 seconds and Mrs.Carr said "Well?" Hun replied, "Oh sorry. It was a mutual friend who introduced us. Also he lives in my apartment complex." Mrs.Carr looked at Mr.Carr and they both have eachother a strange look as if saying 'How did we not notice this?'
     "No no he lives above me! He helped me move in and helped me figure out where all the hot spots in town are" Hun quickly spitted out. Ter then spoke up. "We actually first met in school but didn't realize it till our mutual friend reconnected us." He winked at her and looked at their faces. Mr.carr got up and shook Ters hand and gave Hun a hug.
Her mom than got up and gave them both hugs. "See you soon" they all paid for their checks and headed out. Hun got in the car only to have Ter fall in a pot hole. His knee made a pop noise that stung like hell. "You retard are you ok?"
"Yeah yeah, you didn't see that."
"Oh yes I did" she said laughing really hard.
"Shut up!"
Hun helped him up and Ter put pressure on his leg. "Wait my leg"
Hun got a worried look on her face.
"I can put pressure on it now. Wow that paramedic is stupid as hell! I had a dislocated knee not a strained
muscle."
"That's great" Hun gave him a hug
"Now get in the car we have a place to go to." 
     Hun was now curious because Ter never mentioned going anywhere after dinner. "Where do we got to go?" asked Hun. "You'll see," as Ter smirked. "Can I have a hint?" asked Hun. Ter took a few seconds to think of a hint that won't give it away. "Well as soon as I figure one out, I'll tell you," laughed Ter. Hun glared at Ter. "What have you always wanted?" asked Ter. "Hmmm," thought Hun, "I don't know." Ter laughed "Well I guess you will have to wait and see."
     "Wait what no!" She said
"We are not," slaps Ter on the arm "you are not!"
She then squeaks with excitement.
Ter laughs and drives to the Puppy Barn. Hun jumps out the car. "Calm down if u look like that a psycho going in they'll be scared to sell us a puppy!" Ter realized what he just said hoping Hun didn't.
"Us?" Huns head whipped around.
'Shit!' "Yes us! While I am pretending to be your boyfriend might as well make it believable," Ter said with a weak smile.
"Your such a turd! I love you!!!!" Hun walked inside and saw her two favorite dogs; the Teacup Yorkie and The Pitbull mix. "Omg I don't know what to do!!" Ter hugged her from behind. Choose them both and play with them for a bit you'll see which one fits you more. After a while Hun still loved them both. "Just choose one i promise either way it will be the right choice!" Ter smirked. "Ok ok I am gonna get the little baby yorkie" she said "I'm goin to name him Rockie or Boda" she ponders for a bit.
     Hun picked up her puppy and they walked over to the supplies. "Let's see... What do we need?" wondered Ter. Hun grabbed dog food, a bed, leash, baggies, and a cage. Ter figured the cost would be ridiculously high. "What's the total?" he asked the cashier. "$80," the cashier replied. Ter was doing flips inside. He was so happy. He handed the cashier the money and helped Hun carry out her new puppy. They managed to stuff everything in the backseat and Hun held her puppy on her lap until they got home. "Have yo ever had a pet before?" asked Ter. Hun replied "I would prefer not to talk about it." Ter turned his attention back to the road. When they arrived home, Hun and Ter carried everything up to her apartment and Ter sat down on her couch.  Hun went to get changed into pajamas and Ter watched the puppy. "Hey Hun," Ter yelled, "What's the puppy's name?"
      She sticks her head out the door "Budd" she had a sad tone in her voice.
"Cute but why?"
"I was gonna name him Boda but I thought that would fit the Pitbull so I chose Budd because it means: The Welcome Messenger, and I think you get why from there"
"No but why budd?"
"I don't want to talk about it yet." She smiled weakly
Ter smiled "what's Boda mean?"
"Boda means well it actually means wedding, but I have other reasons for it" her pale face turned a little red from the sad eyes she had before.  "It's a little weird I know" Hun quickly jumped down to all floors and started to pay the floor having Budd run up to her wagging his stump of a tail.
     Hun crawled around in circles messing with her puppy. As she did so, Ter laughed and cheered for the dog. "You can get her Budd!" Hun smiled. Ter got his crutches and stood up. "Where ya going?" asked Hun. "Well it's kinda late so I was gonna head back to my place. Wanna come by and watch a movie?" he replied hoping she would say yes. "What about Budd?" she wondered. "Bring him too," laughed Ter. "Ok. I'll be up in 5 minutes. Pick out a movie," she said as Ter walked to the door. He nodded and closed the door behind him. Finally, home sweet home. Ter went into his room to change out of his "fancy" attire and go back to being comfy. 'What a great day!' he thought as he flipped through movies on Netflix.
