The huge crowds screamed and cheered and the stage lights were swirling around, flashing red and yellow as the guitarist rolled around on his back delivering some of his best riffs he had ever encountered. The beat of the drums and the rhythm of the bass were infectious and upbeat. The tall drummer near the back of the stage was chucking his drumsticks up in the air and into the crowd while the bassist flicked his head back and forth, letting his long black hair fly everywhere. The arena was alive with music and energy. The guitarist climbed up off the floor and onto his feet to run the length of the stage back to his microphone and finish off the last few powerful lyrics. Putting in the last riff, the song came to a close and was met with ecstatic hoots and applause from the thousands of fans in Wembley Arena.
"Thank you!! Thank you all so much for coming tonight! That was our new single "Vesuvius" which is on our new album we released in March!" Steven shouted into the microphone to show his appreciation for the many fans that had turned out to support LostAlone again. He breathed heavily and caught his breath "Phew! To think, this time 7 years ago LostAlone was just a small band playing local pubs in Derby! Now look at us, playing arena shows in London!! And we couldn't have done it without each and every one of you, thank you for helping us survive!!" Steven spoke to the arena with such conviction. He strummed his guitar to prepare for the last song of the night "Now this next song is... is a TUNE! It's "Love Will Eat You Alive"!" His announcement was met with more cries and applause.
By the end of the song the whole arena was singing the chorus back to Steven, Mark and Alan who were being showered with love and admiration. Steven thanked the crowd yet again and promised to do more shows in London soon before running off stage with Mark and Alan shortly behind him.
Waiting on the side of the stage for the three most popular men in London that night, were three young women, rather envied by many female fans.
"That was a brilliant set, as always, darling!" Amy Battelle greeted Steven with a loving embrace,
"Glad you loved it, but did jellyfish love it too?!" Steven laughed as he rested his hand softly on a large bump on Amy's stomach, Amy laughed as she put her hand on his,
"Yes, she was kicking along to Mark's drums alright!" Amy joked; Mark overheard this and walked over, hand in hand with Stephanie, to Steven and Amy still in the wings of the stage,
"Ah I wish Jake was old enough to come to gigs" Mark commented, smiling at Steven's hand on Amy's bump,
"Don't wish his life away, honey; I want him to be two for as long as possible!" Stephanie warned lightly as she, too, admired the young expecting couple,
"Oh and mate, remind me to tell you how to live without sleep for the next 18 years" Mark added to Steven making the four of them laugh together. Alan and Caitlin strolled over as Alan put a towel around his neck to wipe off the sweat from head banging under hot lighting,
"What're you lot laughing about?" Alan asked smiling at his four best friends smiling so much,
"Oh just our future in parenthood... you two don't know about that yet of course, unless you're planning on following in our footsteps?" Steven answered sighing at the realisation of being a parent. Alan hesitated and looked at his fiancé for an answer,
"We're thinking about it, don't worry, there will be little Alan's walking around one day!" Caitlin smiled,
"Aww, that's cute! Shall we crack open a few lagers like LostAlone tradition?" Steven announced to everyone, but he stopped himself when he remembered Amy couldn't drink alcohol "Oh jellyfish you are troublesome!" Steven chuckled, rubbing Amy's bump again "Do you want some OJ? Like who was that YouTuber you were a fan of?" Steven asked Amy,
