Tabitha yanked her suitcase heavily up onto the path. The taxi sped off after Chris had fed the driver some cash. Tabitha smiled up at the house. It had snowed over the few days that she had been gone and the snow crunched under her feet. 'It's cold.' Chris spoke.

'Stop with the whining will you?' Tabitha smiled at him and walked to the door. Tabitha knocked a couple of times. No one answered. Chris sighed and rubbed his shoulders. Snow began to fall again. Tabitha walked around to the back.

'What are you doing?' Chris called to Tabitha as she walked around the corner. She stopped and popped her head around the side of the house.

'Wait here and I will let you it.' Chris nodded. Tabitha ran to the back door and found the spare key. She stepped in and removed her coat and shoes. There was snow over the mats. Her dad would kill her, and if she wasn't in enough trouble already.

The house was toasty. Tabitha popped her head around into the living room and saw the fire burning. 'Hi Tabitha.' Tabitha jumped back. She couldn't recognize the voice. Tabitha took a step back. Charlie got up and left the room.

'Oh...hi Charlie.' Tabitha cautiously said. Charlie looked at Tabitha. He looked angry with her. He could smell another boy. Tabitha felt dirty. Charlie made a noise that came from deep in his chest. There was a knock at the door. Chris.

Chris pushed his head to the glass and tried to find Tabitha. Tabitha moved away from Charlie. 'Are you okay Tabitha?' Charlie shook his head. He stepped towards her.

'Charlie don't.' Tabitha didn't understand why Charlie was acting this way. When Tabitha turned to the door to get Chris he wasn't there any more. Charlie grabbed Tabitha's hand. She yanked it back. 'What is up with you? Why are you even here?' Tabitha stepped into the living room, trying to get away from Charlie.

'Tabitha I need you to listen to me.' Tabitha watched as he walked into the living room and sat. He patted the seat next to him to get her to sit but Tabitha shook her head in refusal. Charlie gritted his teeth. She could tell she was pushing him to his limits.

'What do you want? I'm going to tell you now that this,' Tabitha moved her finger from Charlie's direction to her direction as to signal them two. 'is creepy.' Tabitha snapped her head up to the door as Chris walked into the living room. Charlie turned his head and stared at Chris.

'What the hell? You said to wait there but how long does it take to walked to the front of your house?' Chris turned to Charlie and smiled. He held his hand out. 'Chris. Are you Tabitha's brother?' Charlie didn't touch Chris' hand. Chris pulled it back to his side. Charlie stood.

'Nope I'm Tabitha's boyfriend.' Tabitha coughed and laughed a little. She stepped forward.

'No you are not.'

'Now who are you?' Charlie asked Chris. Chris shrugged. Tabitha gestured to Chris.

'He is a...friend from England.' Chris smiled at Tabitha. Tabitha hid her smile because she could feel Charlie's eyes on her. The eyes she wanted to look at so much. The eyes that made her swoon. Tabitha kicked the sofa.

'Shit.' She exclaimed. Tabitha rubbed her head and held back her tears. She wanted to just let her anger loose. The anger that had been building up inside her for a long time. Charlie placed his hand on Tabitha's shoulder and she pushed it off straight away. Tabitha met his eyes, they were pleading. 'Get out.' Tabitha murmured.

'What?' Charlie asked. He couldn't hear a word she was saying. She was quiet, too quiet.

'Get out!' Tabitha shouted and pointed to the door. Charlie didn't move.

'Tabitha please just come with me. I just need to talk to you.' Charlie was to the point of begging. He couldn't stand it any longer. Tabitha shook her head. She then grabbed Chris and took him upstairs. Charlie sat down in the living room.

'You'll have to stay in my room.' Chris put his suitcase down on the floor and nodded. Tabitha heard no movement from downstairs. Chris placed his hand on her shoulder.

'Is that the guy?' Tabitha looked away from him.

'Well...' Chris took his hand away and headed for the door. Tabitha stopped him. ' No. You stay here, I will sort it.' Chris sat on the bed and sighed.

'Fine. I'll have a nap.' Tabitha smiled at him as he adjusted himself on her bed. He looked peaceful, calm. Tabitha was neither, her heart was racing. She had a lot of anger built up and a pin dropping would set her off. Knowing even that, Tabitha still walked down the stairs and into the living room. Charlie looked to her.

'Charlie I told you to leave.' Charlie stood, he kept his eyes on Tabitha.

'Come with me please.' Tabitha sighed and put her hand down to her sides. She wanted to fall into his arms and give in, surrender. She looked to the ground. She felt guilty.

'Why?' Tabitha snapped her head up to him as he walked to her. He grabbed her hand. He then kissed her forehead making Tabitha swoon. He pulled her from the room.

The air was crisp and cold. Snow was falling slightly and Tabitha liked it. Her hand dangled by her side, lonely. She wanted Charlie to hold it but it would be awkward for it to happen. That moment was always awkward. Charlie had told her to follow. Tabitha could see he was distant, nervous. Tabitha looked around the clearing in the woods that she was familiar with. It was the clearing that she had found on the day she had arrived. Charlie stopped and Tabitha bumped into him. 'Sorry.' He tried to smile at her but couldn't manage it. 'What is it? I'm cold Charlie.' Charlie turned to her and put his hand on her shoulder.

'Promise me something,' Tabitha nodded. 'do not freak out.' Tabitha was confused. Before she could ask Charlie had walked away behind the trees. His shirt was thrown forward. Tabitha looked down at it, her eyes widened as his trousers followed and then is boxers.

'What the hell...' Tabitha stopped as she heard a growl and a large wolf jumped at her. She fell back and scrambled to her feet. 'Shit. What?' The wolf trotted forward and nudged it's head to Tabitha, it was being friendly. Tabitha extended her arm and stroked it's head. In her mind she was trying to piece together what had just happened.

Then he ran off behind a tree. Tabitha heard a rustling. Charlie emerged from the bushes stark naked, his hand cupping his manhood. He smirked and gave Tabitha a look. 'Could you pass me my clothes.' Tabitha abruptly picked up the clothes into a pile and handed them to him, averting her eyes.

As Tabitha walked up the drive in silence with Charlie, she began to cry. Charlie stopped and looked down at her. Tabitha put her hands to her face. 'What's up?' Charlie said. He went to touch her but stopped as Chris barged out of the house and punched Charlie straight in the face. Tabitha fell back onto the ground. Chris knelt down by her.

'Are you okay?' Tabitha scrambled back. Chris grabbed her hand. Charlie stood and Tabitha heard a growl from his chest. He lunged at Chris and pushed him to the ground. He tried to punch Chris but Chris dodged. Tabitha scrambled to her feet and tried to pull Charlie off of Chris.

'Charlie, let him go.' She screeched. Charlie's arm came back and pushed Tabitha forcefully. Charlie stopped and got off of Chris.

'I'm so sorry Tabitha.' Tabitha nodded. She put her hand to his shoulder. She gazed into his eyes. Chris pulled her away. Charlie was getting annoyed. 'Fine, I will go. I'll go.' Charlie turned and he walked away, down the drive and Tabitha watched. She watched him leave again.
