"Ah. So your parents said you were old enough to live alone, so they put you on the rock and threw you here?" She asked me, as if that was normal.
"Yep. Is that what happened to you? Or do your parents live in a different house?" I asked her.
"Well, I flew here. I didn't ride on a rock." She told me. We stayed and talked for a while, then we flew back to her house.
"Since you just got here, I bet you don't have a house yet." She said as we were flying.
"Yeah. I don't have one." I replied.
"Well, I'll help you find one!" She said excitedly.

Instead of going in her house, we went to go get George and Christina. We all met in Christina's house because it was the only one I haven't seen yet. Christina's house was similar to Skye's house, but it wasn't as small. Skye left us to go look for houses, and I was left alone with George and Christina.
"Since both of you have jobs in the human world, can you tell me what it's like there?" I asked them, wondering what they thought of it.
"Sure thing, Tree-Leaf!" Christina said, then looked at George, wondering if he wanted to go first. He didn't.
"I love it, but I wish I could see more than just their bedrooms at night. The only time I get to see new places is when a kid goes on vacation, and stays in a hotel. What's it like for you, George?" Christina said. George hesitated before answering.
"I rarely ever see kids. I usually see old people in their bedrooms. Sometimes I see middle-aged people in their living room or in public. I occasionally see older teens at raves. Mostly people are in hospitals when I see them. It's pretty boring," He told me reluctantly, knowing I knew what it was like. The thought of what he said depressed me a bit.
"I don't really care about the people there, I care more about what the world is like," I said, trying to get more answers from George. Right as he opened his mouth to speak, the door burst open.
"Tree-Leaf! I have good news, and also bad news, about your house!" Skye said as she came running in. She said 'and also bad news' in a sad tone.
"What is it? What's the good news?" I asked her, completely forgetting about George.
"The good news is that I found you a perfect house," Skye said in a slightly sad tone.
"What's the bad news?" George asked, excited to hear it.
"The bad news is that the house is really far away and it will be hard to get to." She said that in a very depressed tone, almost as if she was about to cry.
"Well, maybe I could just live with you guys until we find a closer one" I suggested, somewhat hopeful that I wouldn't be here permanently, even though I was starting to like being here, in the magical forest.
"That is a good idea, but I really want all of you to see the house so you're absolutely sure of your decision.

Omg! I haven't posted in almost a year! I guess I've just been super busy, and lost track of time. Also, writers block has been a problem, too. But I'm back now, and I'll try to update for often. This is also most likely the last time I'm gonna be doing the chapter recap at the top, and if you want me to keep it, post a comment telling me to do so.
Happy reading!
